hope it has the proper VVTLI engine .....

Have you been on a test drive?

And when the engine was warm did you take it to 6,200rpm?

If not go back for another!!

Mines a 51 plate 2002 (pre-facelift) and it has the Badge on the back, on the grille and the spoiler.

I was under the impression that it all came standard. The 3 I looked at when I was looking to buy all had them.

And my lift bolts aren't worn at the moment - I had a passenger grip onto the "panic handle" when lift kicked in last night!

As mentioned blue iv seen around but not too common.

As for the warranty i would definately take it out as i own a pre-facelift and have encountered a few problems which aren't very healthy to your pocket. I suppose it all depends on mileages and how you drive it and luck as well. You only have 23k so you should be alright..but 799 for 4 years peace of mind isn't too bad. try and get the price down a bit and nap it while its there.

The spoiler could mean anything i suppose you can just pick up another one.

enjoy your T-sport and enjoy LIFT!!!!

What kind of problems have you come across then?

Well i have a 53 plate PFL with 91k on the clock and thus far i have not had a single problem in 3yrs of ownership, well apart from the recent discovery of 20 lost ponies, but the car itself has not failed .... touch wood ....

As with anything its pot luck really if something is going to go wrong, so you pay your money and take your choice ......

Enjoy the car though, i still love mine .....

p.s ensure you talk to her regular and she will treat you well ... :Jumpy:

Got 2 more questions:

- When do u need to change the timing belt? is it after 60k miles? because mine has 23k, but it's 6 years old.

- what is the official oil used in this car, if it was service by Toyota

thx

- It's a chain, not a belt, so no need to worry unless you hear nasty noises!

- Not sure but I think it might be 10W40 (probably way off there), but everyone here tends to use either 0W40 or 5W30. I have 5W30 in right now, but I'll probably flush it in a couple of months and start on the 0W40

Just arrived home with THE Car ......... WOW nice :D

Can I give u a LIFT? :D

Went for the one year warranty, actually turns out that is covers more just the engine/gear box. A lot more, even the AC unit, ECU, brake, etc.

I'm a very happy. It's a pity that I spent the first 30 miles in traffic :(

This car is dangerous, I stepped on it and when I had a look at my speed it was over 100mph, slowed down immediately to 70.

Hiya Matey...Welcome to you :D

Glad you are happy with the car...but yes, watch the speed...the last thing you need now is a ban for exceeding 100!

LIFT LIFT LIFT :D

I'm off from work this week, so a think a rather large fix of LIFT is needed.

Need to get some miles on the car after a service.

Hey, I have to test it out to make sure they've done it right, don't I?

:D

Do you guys think this brake pad is new or worn out?, looks new, but only a small (grey)triangle is touching the disk, so I'm confused
