  • Avensis rear brake wear / life expectancy

    We have a 17 plate 1.8 petrol manual avensis tourer.  After 19.5k miles I've been told that the rear pads and discs need replacing (my dealership is pretty straight with these things so I believe it to be the case).  Is this the normal rate of wear?  I appreciate that driving styles differ etc but it seems quite early (owned cars previously that easily did 50k+ before needing replacement).  The car is driven sedately on rural roads for commute with only 2 junctions to stop at and relatively

    Paint Warranty

    I've noticed a patch of paintwork, about 2" square that is slightly lighter than the rest of the car.  I didn't buy the car new but I did get it from a Toyota main dealer.  Can anyone tells me what Toyota's warranty on paintwork is before I go to the dealer?

    So I bought a 2000 Yaris Verso with under 39K on the clock

    I was looking for a small cheap-to-run car as a stop-gap, was looking at 1999-2005 Yarises and found the Verso. The low flat rear space is really useful to me (elderly mum with folding wheelchair, need to shift things to the tip often).
