Interior Light

Hi Gang,

This should be the final question for a while as this is the last job on my "to do" list...

The interior lights come on when I open the passenger door or the tailgate but NOT the drivers door.

The Haynes manual seems pretty light on detail for this so not sure where to start.

What would be the most likely cause for it not working? Dodgy drivers door switch? If so, where exactly do I find this?

Even if it's not the switch, if I at least know where to look for it I should be then able to check for a busted cable.

Any advice would be most welcome.

Cheers!

Stu.

Quite likely the driver door switch as you suggest. Probably corroded. It will be a under a rubber 'mushroom' somewhere on the door shut I would imagine

I imagine it'll be something along the one shown in this thread:LINK

Thanks DavRav, that was a big help and i've now identified a dodgy switch as the culprit.

Cheers!
