  1. Here is how to install Cruise Control to your Auris... Found this instruction on Toyota Owner's Club Russia -forum, special thanks to Andron, who took the pictures and wrote the russian text! I made some improvements and posted it here, enjoy... You're gonna need two parts: Cable and switch (You can see the part numbers on the pictures) Next you have to connect the wire to the switch After that, remove the cover caps from both sides of the wheel After removing you will see the following: (there is a possibility that the caps don't exist, if so, you'll see one screw on both sides of the wheel, and should just continue to the next step) Remove the screws (TORX 30). Pull the airbag covers' upper side towards yourself. DO NOT disconnect the airbag's wire! Put the switch to it's place from the inside of the right hole (or make the hole in case you didn't do the "remove the covers from both sides of the wheel" -step because of not having any covers. After that just tighten the switch with two M5x10mm, not M6 screws

  2. Its cold air thats denser, a car performs better sucking in colder denser air as cold dense air is thicker and has a higher oxygen content than hot air. B)

  3. That's called the Netz emblem. I believe that Netz is the Toyota distributor in Japan. You can usually find them on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320689915451

  4. photos and thanks from a member more help and more more more help with list of whats changed and all thats just on engine gasket problems Hi Ormi no one can say that you have not helped many people on these forums. you no doubt have lots of experiance with toyota a products, and have attended many toyota courses to obtain your title technician.but you seem to think this title is somewhat superior to someone he calls himself a fitter as i used to myself when i was on the tools as they say.being a fitter is not an assembler of say an engine, but hand building an engine so its exactly meets the makers spec not near enough is good enough.there are plenty of fitters or come to that mechanics, who have been in the motor trade far longer than you with experiance of many different makes of engines and vehicles this does not make them lesser qualified to do their job.you seem to be full of your own (perceived) importance.when you have a wider range of experiance of including other vehicles, you may be entitled blow your own horn. self praise is no recommendation. also have plenty experiance with reno spent many years working on them, also bmw and merc also vauxhall...im not blowing my own trumpet i give advise then i get a key board warrior who is not in the trade and is a bin man for all i know questioning how i know about faults and how i know how to fix them... fitter....ie fits parts doesnt fix or investigate whats wrong(kwikfit etc) tec....will strip find the problem and then rebuild so forgive me if i dislike being called a fitter after all the courses and studying ive had to do.. if you were a manager of tescos would you like being called a trolly pusher...no.. also i dont think other tecs are less qualified but i dont think you will find many non toyota garages taking on a 2.2 rebuild due to lack of info...
