  1. If serious about acquiring a 1977 Toyota Corolla station wagon in good solid body condition, email me back. It has been driven from SC to Ohio, and is in very decent shape. Need serious inquiries please. bluejay@eohio.net or phone 740-945-9415

  2. you DO NOT need a toyota history to get your engine fixed as long as its a vat registered garage and you have used oe parts and the book is stamped..i have even done an engine swap on a car that hadnt been serviced in 2 years but he had part history so it was ok'd

  3. Isn't there a formula somewhere that tells roughly how long each unit takes to leave an average body ? Yes it will vary a little from person to person, but airline pilots have a limit of some sort before they can fly after a drink... I know that, drinking very little, one glass of wine for me makes me fall over, whereas some other guy of the same build etc may have 2 glasses same size before he is over the limit. This is the problem, it varies so much. IMO the only safe way is to have a zero limit.

  4. Zero is the magic number, too many morons think they can drive better with a few beers in them. Also any drug / drink abuse should incur a ban and their car should be crushed Rant Over :shutit:

  5. Boring you am I? Thats typical mac fans, very short attention spans. :P Only Joking. Plenty! It can be customised to suit me and my preferences, supports Office etc and isn't configured to lock out the user from the OS. Its a mini computer in every sense of the word. You asked! Please do. I am sure the lack of support for standards such as Flash and true multi tasking is something you Mac fans have learned to live with. :P

  6. After 19000mls decided to take a look at my EGR valve yesterday, (not that i have had any problems) anyway apart from skinned knuckles it was pretty straight foreward, however mine was a little different than most i have read about, The square hole in the Ctre was relatively clear, but the 2 side holes were partially blocked, The difference being that this was fairly loose "soot" not hard carbon that i have seen in others, i was able to remove this with cloths + WD40 the 2 side holes were more gungy and i twisted 6 pipe cleaners together to scoop out the gunge, the worrying part is that despite using a semi industrial vac some of this must have gone back down the holes, I took the EGR valve into my garage and soaked it in WD40 (couldn't get carb cleaner) and blew everything out with an airline, after scrubbing with the wifes toothbrush, put it all back together, it started first time, gave it an Italian tune up (5000rpm) on the motorway, All is well + car felt a bit more responsive, but I am still concerned at the amount of "soot" in the pipe + where it fixes to the engine and "WHY" we are having to do this, Also my Rav has used a little oil for the first time 3/4 of a litre since last service 4500mls ago should i be concerned Stew

  7. I have been waiting for this thread for a while now and thanks for the good news. :) Just wanted to confirm a few things and a couple of questions as well. 1. Your chip is a processor which regulates the injection timing as well as regulate boost? 2. Your chip will not result in new D-CATs and or other potentially expensive bills? 3. WIll i void my remaining Toyota warranty if i go ahead? 4. Will it need to be disconnected during service? 5. What can i expect in performance wise? Gains of how many seconds to 60mph etc. 6. Can i expect an improved economy if driven sensibly given that the processor is in effect an 'upgrade' to the car's ecu. 7. Will i need to treat the car differently in order to not break it? 8. Does Peak power RPM and torque range stay the same? Sorry if i sound ignorant, it is because i am when it comes to the more technical side of things. Thanks in advance. can I add one more question 1. what is the average mpg of a T180 / SR180 with this fitted?
