  2. YES! I was going for a black Auris. Like that one I said to the salesman, he chuckled & said that's Deep Titanium, wait till you see it in sunlight. He was right, in the sun it's like a deeeeeeeeeeeeep sparkly blue. You won't be disappointed. By the way DVLA insist on calling it grey!? Got the car a day earlier than scheduled, under 7 days. Very happy!

  4. Just took 4 perfectly good Bridgestone Safety (Steel?) Rings to the coup at end of last week and responsibly recycled them. Had only done 19k miles. That was an enjoyable chucking ceremony. (For chucking, read anything that rhymes.....) Before anybody says they would have had them, please search my posts trying to sell them for charity.....no offers.......seems only freebies are good deals....... So for the same charity, I still have 3 TPMS sensors/senders unused....... Big Kev

  5. Hello, I have attached a .pdf file for you and this explains everything, it's for the 2003> engine but should be the same. The other thing that can cause this is a blocked oil filter or oil pick up pipe inside the sump that has a screen filter on it but like others said it's probably a poor wiring connection to the switch or the switch itself. 6. I sounds like the oil pressue switch either is failing - check for oil appearing on the actual switch, or the connection is loose. Hopefully it is the latter since it may have been disturbed during the cam belt change. The oil pressure switch can be changed and it is mounted very low down on the engine block. I thought that the oil pump is usually driven directly off the crankshaft. I never have known an engine design that a belt drives the oil pump. The water pump is usually belt driven (cam or auxillary). The worst scenario is the oil pump failing and that is expensive.

  7. It think that it is illegal to use the hazard flashers on a moving vehicle as it can confuse other road users as to the intentions of the moving vehicle The Handbook on my Toyota actually recommends that the space saver should not be used on the front wheels and in the event of a front wheel puncture the rear wheel on the same side should be fitted on the front and the space saver on the rear I am surprised that the AA patrolman did not carry out this procedure
