It's only Landcruiser and GT86 that has an interval for changing the auto trans oil, there is no recommendation on mileage/time for any other model But just because you don't have to change it doesnt mean you can't. I don't subscribe to that nonsense and personally believe it would be OK to change, if it was my car, i would! Kingo

Ha ha velly funy, found the leak (loose nut......silly boy) not la drop of oil spilt! As far as the incontinence gose that'll come soon enough! Dose anyone remember the "flapping "noise I was getting from the engine? Well it turned out to be a crap job of fitting the turbo gaskets! An it coast me £1500! The guys not got a good rep now! Anyway, new garage, re-fitted turbo and gaskets an the rav's running like new ............very happy bunny..........

Mine was one of the non adjustable Lindop Chip Kits, with the outboard posi and nega feed wires, but, like yours, started off totally silent and great performance improvement........then after the car had "learned" what the chip kit expected of it, the trouble started. My advice would be leave it at the setting you have found works with no adversities, and monitor over at least a month......hopefully the adjustability of your more recent Chip is the missing link. Mine is working away merrily in anurra T180.

Unfortunately the sheer length of your decision-making process, the obscure and non-critical nature of some of your questions, and the fact that some questions do not have a direct bearing when purchasing a car for the vast majority of people, has led to several members of the forum, quite understandably, questioning your integrity. Over the years I have purchased 17 new cars and each one of them has been a significant outlay for us, yet decisions have been made over a period of weeks rather than months or years. All of the cars we have bought have suited the purpose for which they were bought, and there is no car that we view as being either a mistake or unreliable. It is not the case that forum members expect another to buy a car and get lost. Over the past year plus, forum members have been very patient with you, and have provided you with some very good advice. By the way the previous posting about trim level, options and colour was intended to be tongue in cheek, mainly out of exasperation. Think you need to accept these comments with good grace and move on.
