  1. Hi guys, What is everyone else using? At the moment I am running 215/45 17" 4 x Michelin Primacy HP and have nothing bad to say about them rating E, A, 70db I am however very interested in the GoodYear EffecientGrip Performance as the rating is B, A, 67Db so the fuel eco seems better and also lower noise. Any suggestions appreciated Chi

  2. A late response to your question - I have a 2013 verso and yes the centre of hazard lights switch does light up when the headlights are switched on - in the same way as various other buttons light up on the dash.

  3. Hello Orangezorki, . I may be wrong, but I think you will find that the protection pack doesnt come with the door mouldings This is from the Toyota website: The protection pack has been designed to keep your Yaris Hybrid looking as good as new. Includes:Front and Rear parking sensorsFront and Rear Mud flapsRear bumper protection plateBoot linerCarpet Mats Also, I notice that door mouldings do not appear to be available in the accessories except as lower chrome finishers. I notice that bumper corner protectors are still offered. Very strange. Perhaps a styling and marketing move for 2014? Can anyone tell if I have this wrong? I guess it must be possible to order the plastic mouldings as a part if required?? Anyway, what I mean is, that in your case you might not have to worry about the problem. Brian

  5. I had the same problem exactly the same problem in fact ... I took the player out (use magnetic sockets or lose the bolts found out the hard way ) cleaned it all very carefully and replaced it making sure all connections were clean and not damaged ... Still no joy went to Toyota they wanted silly money for a new one so got one off eBay ( new ) for £60 inc postage ... Toyota said it has happened to a few they have had in but a refurbished one is £276 plus vat and a brand new one is more than double that plus vat

  6. Hi, I have cleaned many MAF Sensors in the past on VW, Seat and Audi etc with alot of success and replaced EGR Valves with bypass once with alot of success also. If you think that you are having a problem with yours then I think that you should take it to a dealer as I had mine replaced under warranty because the early ones fitted to the iq2 were faulty.

  8. Hello Di, the rear disc assembly is prone to problems, so I have heard, such as premature disc wear and sticking of the moving parts just because it is a bit exposed at the back end. I am going to have to change my discs soon after only 3 years as they are quite worn. If you bought your car at a dealership they should have serviced it and checked the brakes over before giving it to you, so I think they should give the brakes a check over now. John

  9. Only when you start them... I like to call it Vibrant, but you would expect that with only three pots to pull the beast...

  10. I've spent a few weeks driving in the left hand side world of Japan, and can say that after an initial period of adjustment, it worked out well enough. However, I'd not want to have to make the adjustment frequently, and the return to right hand side driving is a bit disorienting.
