  1. Hi pal. Took delivery on Monday. Carriageway/motorway 50mpg. Town runs 42/45mpg. It doesn't have stop/start engine like my previous 1.33. It does however take off from the lights. I love it! Will probably be putting the Comfort pack onto it as well.

  2. Agree with above comments re pressure- you don't mention if you have checked the pressures, but if under inflated even slightly the steering feels heavy and consumption goes up. Some mpg enthusiasts inflate above the manufacturer's recommended pressure which gives a slight gain in consumption at the expense of a jiggly ride

  3. To a certain extent over inflating results in better mpg. If they are heavy, perhaps the fitters have under inflated a bit? That could make the mpg worse. For what it's worth I normally run mine at 36 all round, and every time the garage do anything it comes back set to manufacturer's settings, which is about 32 I think from memory. I also have Michelin Energy, btw.

  4. This is grave news. Grave news indeed. My lease has about 12 months to run and I was fired up about just replacing it with a new 2015 model, with a vague hope that by that time there would be a model “refresh”. I think however that there is provision in the lease to change 6 months early which I may well have to investigate hoping that won’t compromise the excellent lease deal I got (practically no deposit and zero % interest) Maybe UK stock will continue to be available well into 2015 after production ceases or something worthy will replace it. A tribute to how good the iQ is is the fact that I sat last night trying to find a replacement and nothing appeared to come close. Sad end to motoring’s best kept secret.
