The dash brightness should be viewable in daylight with the headlights on. Somewhere the brightness has been turned down if you can't see the display. I often use my headlights if it's raining or foggy. Same with changing to kph/mph. This is a requirement in EU models (and I believe the US/Canadian ones too), though whether an Asian Prius has the option is unknown. The Prius is manufactured around the World, including Thailand, with adjustments made for local market requirements; ie the US version climate control is in F rather than C with no option to change etc. The OP hasn't said where in the World they are.

UPDATE......Replacement new DAB / Infotainment unit fitted under warranty Just prior to letting the dealer have the car I activated "Delete Personal Data" option on touch screen only to find that the DAB system started to LIST again! I reported this to the service manager......But they still changed the unit :) On a road trip Wednesday so will check out DAB reception

The oil is fine and carries the required C2 specification either grade is good however the 0W30 should give a slight improvement in fuel economy and is actually Toyota's preferred grade.
