  1. I just would like to share my success story with you. For the past 5 months my 2011 Verso 2.0 D4D diesel only managed an average of 38mpg for mixed motorway and urban driving. Frankly it was very disappointing. Even after being serviced no improvement was gained. I suspected it might have been an EGR valve related issued and finally decided to find a guide on how to clean it. It took me about 10mins to remove. Even though the car only done 36k miles, the inside of the valve was heavily caked with black carbon. I used a small stiff brush and cleaned the valve port area with carburettor cleaner. Refitted it. I did not need to replace any gaskets so in all it was a pretty easy job to do. Since the clean I've done mostly motorway driving with the fuel consumption returning to "normal" 48mpg average. I might also try BG244 Fuel System Cleaner and see if it improves even further.

  4. Surely Dan it should be any dashcam gets a discount as they all do the same job with varying quality of course but it it's clear enough then that should be enough surely. cos that could mean having to spend a couple of hundred quid to get a " recommended " one rather than just a dashcam and would that mean I would need front and rear and mounted in specific places etc ... It's like a tracker is that really worth anything these days I know they used to ... Sorry bit of a rant there but it just seems a bit daft for it to be on a range of in car dash cams rather than just all of them

  5. Hi, My 2010 T27 1.8L petrol runs at 1200 rpm when started and at 750 rpm flat within 2 minutes after that. At 750 rpm it runs so smooth and quiet I can't even hear it. Take it back and have it fixed. P.S. Oh, yes, my brakes squeel a bit just before a full stop. But that does seem to be normal.
