  1. to my trusty and (almost always) reliable Mk1. Steering pump is playing up (since I had belts replaced) and there is something wrong when trying to start - sometimes it does, sometimes you will just hear a click, or hear the engine trying to turnover but failing, or the starter will disengage and you hear it spinning - sometime a combination, and then it will fire up. But to put it right will cost more tthan the car is worth. So I have bitten the bullet and amd getting diesel Rav4. Picking up Wednesday. Scrapyard for the Mk1 next Saturday - goodbye dear friend.

  2. Depends on which 2.0 lite engine you have 1AZFE = SK20R11 1AZFSE = SK20BR11 the "S" in the engine number denotes the engine as having Toyota's D4 direct injection petrol fuel system, the engine cover will have a big D4 on it

  3. just an idea. replace the courtesy lights with leds then use the interior light for the power supply, replacing with leds will free up some power that can be used with the dash cam. if this is possible the wiring is up the windscreen and behind the roof lining.

  5. Nope, sad to say the original poster left the forum and in a bit of a tantrum and took all his pictures with him. Still, if you are fitting aftermarket reversing sensors there is no need to remove the bumper. If you look underneath the bumper you can see there is plenty of room to get the wires through. Fitted them myself so do know it is quiet easy - just nervey when drilling the hole though the nice paintwork ! - assume you kit has a proper drill bit with hole saw. Practice your hole drilling on a piece of plastic drain pipe first
