  1. The brown wire, if your car has one, but i think there isn't, is for cruise switch ground feed and should be grounded well. If remember correctly there is a ground point at other side of steering coloumn, just add your ground wire there!

  2. Then adding wires to these plugs mentioned earlier (clock spring plug and ECU plug) you must find correct therminals that will fit in these plugs. I found these cheaper to buy, but you could always ask your local Toyota dealer for these. They should sell these for couple of pounds per piece. I don't remember the product code of them, but i'll look it up in couple of hours.

  4. The lower row, after the green there should be a white wire witch goes to ECU pin 24, if not install one. And in third pin must be brown ground wire.

  5. Hi John and a big welcome to the club. There are many knowledgeable members on here who give helpful advice, if you add more details about your lady wife's car as all there is entered is the reg year so maybe the fuel type, mileage and transmission? Do you have any service history Good luck to you in the sorting of what is usually a reliable set of wheels Del

  7. Passes mot fine - not remotely worried :) more issue with folk who have a light out or badly aligned and more than enough of those for the dwindling number of real police to stop.

  8. Thanks for that, but this is way too expensive compared to how much Toyota charge for theirs upgrade ~£30. I couldn't decide in favour of this device therefore I'm not buying it - yet. Probably will get this on my next holidays in Poland! If anyone would want this device, I could possibly get that for you too. Anyways, thanks for your comments on this thread! @Konrad C - remote windows lock is muchly missed functionality. Shame it's not present in avensis and that there is no upgrade possible to enable that. Sent from my SM-T715 using Tapatalk

  9. If he fails you can easily buy a complete hub assembly from a breaker. He should be able to do it without applying heat. Freezing the bearing race is also an option. Outer races can be partially cut out to the point that they 'collapse' under pressure from a press. Good luck

  11. My understanding is that LED lights are only legal for cars where they were homologated with them & then they are require to have washers & self-levelling (as are Xenon).

  12. No Tech Pack, Pete B as it was a silly price on £1500 and the Roof was bad enough......although I would pay the same again on the G4 if a roof was available. It is available on the Advanced Tech Pack in the States on the Prius 3 & 4. The roof was great for ventilation, with just the back end flipped up, as you could feel the dash board face vents really allow more air to enter, as they were working against less resistance. It seems to be the ability to put feet right under the front seats that makes all of the difference to rear seat comfort........but not having a height adjust on the passenger seat of the Excel is really poor, comfort wise, as every leg and torso length is different. M y wife may have to go back to using a Back Friend, which is really excellent, but shouldn't be necessary https://www.medesign.co.uk/MEDesign-Backfriend
