L denotes Local production which in the case of EU Corolla means UK production VIN starting SB1or Turkish production VIN starting NM, J is for Japanese production VIN starting JT

Have you tried putting in your VIN and searching that way? It should give you a specific answer. I'd imagine it should then indicate whether yours is J or L? No idea what they mean though.

Hi John, well thank you dear friend. Tell you what though, now I am older my hands hurt like hell from all the scraping and sanding. I did the rear door yesterday, just cleaned the old paint off, haven't re sprayed the epoxy yet, I will do the rear wing and that together, but I'm having a day off today to let my hands recover a bit

Incidentally, I expressed my concern about the HUD and the Autoglass guy said there were different screens for with/without HUD, and confirmed he'd selected a HUD friendly one for my car.

I didn't have to contact the insurer. If I was happy to use their preferred supplier, Autoglass, Direct Line supply a number to ring them direct. I got the chip repaired next day. I rang Thursday afternoon to say I needed a new screen and they offered me several appointments on Saturday at either Norwich or Ipswich. It was lucky that they chose to repair the original crack, as I only had to pay a £10 excess. Because the repair failed I got the whole windscreen fee including the re-calibration. If they'd originally said I needed a new screen, my company charges £75 excess. If I chosen to get my dealer (or anyone other than Autoglass) to do it (£600) they would only have paid £150 towards it.

Yep. They did it all onsite. When I had the repair done they came to my home, and if they were just fitting a basic screen without the safety kit they'd do that at home too. As it was their depot was 33 miles away but to get the whole thing done in one go I was happy with that.

Well I would not call these bull bars one bit, they are made of plastic, and in my opinion are made for show only, there is no way you could attatch a winch or pull anything with them. !Removed! and they would come off. I have the same fitted to my Rav. Seems to be a plastic bull bar look a like molding screwed with 2 cm self tappers to the bumper. I would call it a bumper extension.
