  2. Hi OC, Hmm I looked in my Haynes, it didn't give any values, just explained what camber, caster and toe was. I will look at the rust marks when I do the brake in couple of weeks time but I doubt I am going to adjust it as that may mess up the toe. It was a computerised one with automatic lifts, I think it was called John Bean? Normally for 2 wheel its £40 but they charged £35 cos I got 2 front tyres. Regards

  4. Hi. If it is a wheel bearing the noise would worsen when cornering as this would put more weight on the particular wheel. Going around a left bend would put the weight onto the right side etc.

  5. A car like Yaris will definitely have louder road noise and generally less comfort when compared to a class like Avensis. But at some point even newer smaller cars have sufficient comfort so if you feel the noise is just too much you can start by checking your tyres and wheel bearings. There might be something else that would make a loud rumbling/whining noise but I can't quite remember now. I was dealing with a bad front left wheel bearing recently and the general sound was awful compared to a new bearing, at first I didn't even understand how it can be so quiet, thought I had a blocked ear or something.

  6. Toyota Owners Club isn't an appropriate medium to collect this information, and there are implications around use of data by a third party. If members within the UK have experienced similar issues with their current vehicle, then they may choose to report the problems on an individual basis to DVSA using the system that is designed to deal with these enquiries. This is the route that should be used. Members outside the UK should determine what methods are in place within their own country to raise these types of issues, and should use those channels to report accordingly.
