  1. Hi and welcome, I personally would have it wax-oiled to give some protection. Other members on here have different opinions on what products they use for undersealing. Do a bit of research and decide what products would suit your needs.

  4. Hi, That sounds like an awful lot of work and expense plus how do you know a second hand VVTI engine and gearbox is any good ? After all they will be at least 13 years old and some of the earlier VVTI engines did have the oil burning problem. Unless you are doing this just for the sake of a project to do, think looking for a 2006* VVTI complete car would be a much better solution and as your G6 bodywork is sound would think you can find a ready market for it to offset the cost of the VVTI. * 2006 model better as thats well after the end date of the oil problem

  5. £125 front & rear including VAT and fitting, using the same % discount that I got off the car. RRP was £142, but different dealers may differ. I'm pretty sure that any dealer would be happy to fit them for you. If anybody is interested, the Nextbase dashcam with front & rear lenses was £270 fitted. It also records as soon as there's an impact when the car is unattended, ideal for inept drivers and rogue trolleys in supermarket carparks! Oh, the dashcam got me £77 off my insurance too. I didn't bother with the fancy trim on the tailgate or the scuff plates. Apart from what I've just mentioned, it's a bog standard Excel AWD. Here's my baby after her wash this morning:

  7. .... Would you adam & eve it! My centre pipe fitted a breeze 👍 My front downpipe/manifold flange is roaring like a microlite... 🙁 When the fitter refitted the front section (third time lucky!) he commented that "these fine thread Toyota studs are sods for stripping!"... So then = he didn't crank them hard up, ergo, Leaking!! The manager has agreed to source a set of fresh studs for me, gas burn/tease out old ones and fully refit the front with fresh gaskets... Great bunch of guys " Shout Out for ATS Wallsend!" 🗣️ 2sav

  8. Hi, my name is Andrew. I have been the proud and highly satisfied owner of a 1999 RAV4 GX since it was 6 months old. With over 188,000 miles on the clock and still running beautifully it's getting a bit tatty: lacquer peel on the bonnet & roof and lots of stone chips, I was thinking about a change. Guess what? Don't laugh, but I have just bought exactly the same model, spec & reg with amazingly good bodywork. That's at least another 10 years of happy motoring for me then 😂
