  1. Hi, from your explanation it’s a good idea to check clutch and flywheel, transmission fluid, and driveshafts, pretty much everything in the drivetrain. Just visual inspection for beginning, some test for worn clutch , noises on idle from the same area. Engine mounts too. Good luck

  2. 1. First of all you need the four files inside a folder called "FMU" on the USB stick for the update to work. The files alone won't work. 2. I don't believe Accessory mode will work. You need to turn on the hybrid (brake pedal plus start button). You can leave the car in P (park) mode or take a drive, just keep the hybrid switched on. While "parked" the petrol engine may start up now and again but only for a short while to top up the battery. I did mine in P mode on my driveway. 3. Plug in the USB. It should be quickly recognised. You will be asked to enter the registration code you were given when you downloaded the zip file so have that ready. The update process will then begin. I saw that some 21 "packages" needed to be processed. It was a slow process... took just over an hour. Don't switch off until the job is done.

  3. From other threads you need to keep the car running the whole time - which means going for a drive in reality. And it take about an hour.

  5. You can speed up the burping if you squeeze the lower rubber hose to the radiator and then the upper one.. engine off and radiator cap off..

  6. If there is no bleed, just burp the system with the heater on full hot and run it up to temp until the stat opens That's not rare it's just a Renault thing (played with my far share of 1.5 and 1.9 DCI's)

  7. It's a support the engine and remove the mount job if done to the book

  8. The mk1 and mk2 are the same layout, have a look on YouTube, what engine do you have ? if the alternator is at the front - remove the alternator and the pump comes up

  9. Chassis is identical. I refer to Haynes. Jack up car front: axle stands Remove driver's side engine lower cover.. Loosen pulley bolts Remove drivebelt Remove water pump pulley Remove water pump (3 bolts and two nuts) and remove water pump.

  10. Hi all, So after ordering this over 6 months ago, my new car was finally delivered on Friday. I love it!!! The seats are so comfy, the CVT is great, I’m already starting to get half decent MPG from it, it’s very nippy round town and perfectly planted on the motorway. With it having sports suspension, I was a little apprehensive on how the ride would be, especially round town. I drove over 130 miles yesterday and it settled down a lot, but it was still a little crashy. I checked the tyre pressures and all 4tyres were 33PSI, It should be 29 at the rear and 32 at the front. Since I’ve adjusted the pressures, It’s a lot smoother ride. There are a few reviews of the GR-Sport online and on YouTube, and after driving one myself, I think they’re all wrong. It’s a brilliant car. Alan 081099B7-B7CD-42D9-AD0E-690831E21419.MOV
