  1. Thought I would update my post. Took my car today for it's pre booked appointment. All handled really well. Explained if stone damage not covered. The cause is the AC condenser is leaking at bottom right corner, dealer spoke to the Toyota used approved warranty company and it was rejected, as no evidence provided. Inchcape took photo and spoke to Toyota again on phone and 30 minutes later got the approval with no cost to me! So great news! Only issue is condensers are on back issue, and should be in stock at the end of the month. Going to phone me as soon as they know any more. I have to say Inchcape Toyota has handled this issue fantastic and while I waited and kept me informed throughout with regular updates. James

  2. A simple and effective solution for anybody who needs a rear view camera. Solution is applicable to any vehicle. The system is very simple, it has a good quality HD camera with dynamic guidelines and a monitor installed over the interior mirror. When it’s not in use, monitor is an excellent heliomatic mirror. Camera is fitted above the plate number. It's hardly visible from a certain distance. Whole system is activated by the voltage taken from the reverse light. The big work is routing the cable from reverse light to the camera through the hatch door grommet and to monitor through the roof finishing.

  4. Toyota part number consist of 10-12 digits the first 5 are what Toyota call a PNC "part name code" and in this example all AC amplifiers start 88650 the next 5 digits narrow the part down to specific application and the last two digits if present denote a colour variation or exchange/refurb part. For the EU market there are 21 variations of AC amplifier depending on Engine, auto/manual AC, build date and destination climate and all of them are unique to the IQ If you PM your chassis # number I can get an exact part number for you should you need to locate one

  5. Maybe a silly question but is the aircon switched on at the time, as the cooling fans will constantly cycle on and off when the air con is active.

  6. If You're thinking about Toyota Plug In but don't think that Prius Plug In gen 2 will fit Your needs You maybe should consider Prius Plug In gen 1. Not so modern and efficent as Gen 2 ( shorter EV range) but higher and with bigger boot space. ( bigger than 2019 Corolla Hatch ) so If You drive most shorter trips and can find an top trim level 2016 model You'll get an quite cost/fuel/energy efficent and decent car

  8. Unlikely. You need a good quality one otherwise the app can't get the readings fast enough or reliably enough. There is also the hybrid reporter app. You can have hybrid assistant log your drive then the reporter can analyse the data.

  9. Please see the recommended devices here: http://hybridassistant.blogspot.com/p/obd.html It's showing a lot of data in real time (and also logging it) so you need a good quality fast adaptor.
