  1. The lane assist is horrible, it zig-zags from left and right constantly (very slow oscillation), drives me insane, makes you look drunk at the wheel. find myself fighting it constantly to keep it straight, tried it a few times at different settings and found it not to be very useful.

  2. Whilst the Corolla steering is on the light side I don't experience any twitchiness when on the move. I switched off lane assist in the settings during the handover. I'm not a fan of the system, my previous car had it and it was at the opposite end of the assistance spectrum compared to the Corolla.

  4. Mine were fine from new but I've just replaced them as I started to get a slight deposit on the fronts. Cost £30 for a complete set and took about five minutes to fit.

  5. Below these there’s the compatibility list and months for models and their production dates, but this website is a positive sign because I have not found anything close to this on other official Toyota websites...

  7. Welcome aboard, Scott...I remember when Burnaston was an operational airfield/airport.!!...the home originally of "Derby Airways" (IIRC) ..who became "British Midland Airways" (now defunct) and moved to the then brand new "East Midlands Airport." @ Castle Donington.

  9. You're obviously comparing it to your previous vehicle. I don't find it an issue, I wasn't sure about the CVT at first, I'm use to it now.

  10. You need a 'My Toyota' account set up for you and your vehicle in the first instance (my dealer set the account up when I purchased the car). When I sign in at Toyota.co.uk and select 'My Vehicles' and double click the car icon (showing my VIN number) it takes me to a screen which includes the driver analytics icon. The phone app 'MyT' asks for the same login details as you use for the website account and gives you access to various data including driver analytics/score. *The car VIN number appears here*

  11. No Konrad, that was little over my budget, although this one is 47k, the full leather seats and it was 2 grand cheaper. So trusty old 3-claw adjustable oil filter remover wont work? Thanks for the heads up, yes, I will certainly look into getting those.

  12. Just discovered the solution on another thread: Adjust seat all the way forward, all the way back, all the way up, all the way down, all the way back reclined, all the way back to vertical, tip front of seat all the way up then all the way down. Between each step hold the switch in that position for 3 seconds. Lo and behold, seat memory now works. Mind you, very sloppy PDI from dealer.

  13. The 1.0 and 1.5 petrols (manual and CVT) are available in some markets (eg Ireland), but not in the UK. Presumably down to Toyota GB.
