  1. Could someone please tell me how to re-connect my Rear View Mirror which has been knocked off? If not how is the arm connected to the windscreen so that I can purchase a new one. Any help is appreciated. Vehicle is a Toyota Avensis 1.8 VVTi 2001 :)
  2. Tried it for about a week and found that with certain applications/browsers it was too slow and sometimes crashed, especially with Facebook. This was on the final copy not the Beta! Have now reverted back to IE8 with no problems what so ever. It still needs some problems sorting out before I use it again :(
  3. Many thanks for the advice. My friend and I have the same Model Toyota Avensis 1.8 VVTi CDX from 2001 with exactly the same problem you described. Will definitely give it a try.
  4. An hours work and I have my horn back!!! The black cable had snapped behind the Airbag and was too short to solder back on so I spliced a new cable in and it now works fine. Many thanks for the advice guys.
  5. I have no other problems with the controls or airbag light, just the horn stopped. Many thanks for your advice I will open it up tommorrow for a look.
  6. Many thanks for your help. Exactly what I was after
  7. Can anyone help me out please? I have a Toyota Avensis 1.8 VVTi 2001 and my horn has stopped working! I have checked everything and have narrowed it down to the cable loom behind the steering wheel. Can someone please tell me how I remove the steering wheel cover and airbag in order to reconnect the cable please. Do not want to end up with an airbag in my face. Thanks in advance everyone
  8. Konrad, You would not happen to know the proper name and details of the clips as I need to replace a few which have been damage. As I spent for ages searching on line for the correct ones but there are thousands. But once again thanks for your help, at least my wife no longer thinks she is the HULK. Oh and the screw had fallen into the boot. Kind Regards
  9. Hi Konrad, Many thanks exactly as you described. Your advice has solved my problem.
  10. Morning everyone. Can anyone advise me on where I can pick up some new clips to secure the inner plastic trim back onto the tailgate of my car. My wife went to close the boot and managed to pull the whole lot off. I have managed to attach it temporarily but some of the clips are damaged. Hopefully I have managed to explain this in enough detail. The vehicle is a Toyota Avensis 1.8 VVTi CDX 2001. The trim is the one that covers the rear wiper and high mounted stop light. Any help/advice would be great.
