that looks about right m8. how did you enter without the minus in front of the 3. my original co-ordinates were..52.095282 / -3.633814. thanks opifex everything works ok the problem i had was tring to input -3.633814. i could not put the - before the 3. but the pictures above look about right to me so maybe im doing something wrong. thanks both.

actually it was the world bog snorkling championship. amongst other events.its not so much as i did'nt know where to go i wanted to try the lat/longitude method. but as i said earlier i can not input the exact co-ordinates. google maps show the - as west but the prius gps wont accept the - first. stumped

hi keith. this is one example of an address i tried to input. 52.095282 -3.633814 these are coordinates off google maps for a car park in mid wales. im still trying to figure it out. one destination it did accept and i ended up approx 3 miles away haha.
  9. does anybody know what format the gps system uses on a prius 2010. for example. is it minutes/seconds. or degrees. ive tried to use the system and it does'nt seem to accept the numbers i key in. has anybody else used this with any success. thanks.

thanks for all your advice. i now use auto all the time and yes it does keep the screen clear. one happy bunny ha ha ha. thanks all
  11. myself i try to use cruise control as much as i can. the car is always in the correct gear . so far after 12 months i am averaging 60+mph.
  12. ah i think you misunderstood me . the tow hitch is an actual bike rack fitted under the vehicle so you dont actually tow anything. ive read about these on the Gen III (2010+) Toyota Prius Forums - PriusChat Forums. browse through this forum and ask about it there.
  13. on the usa prius forum. a lot of members use the saris bones bikerack. it is shaped to clear the rear deflector. this would be my choice. they retail around £120 ok. you can also fit a tow hitch for bikes not sure how much these go for.
  14. do you members recommend taking out the legal protection for insurance . this can be up to £30.00 extra. is it really worth it.

its not to do with mpg. i just wanted to know the correct settings for defogging the screen. for instance i never knew a/c was the best way. i never expected such a response, but thanks to you all.
