  1. I put on a set of eibachs on my 140, you dont need new shocks,FACT. according to eibach they were supposed to drop 40mm but they dropped the car about 65mm to be honest, got 17´s with 40mm tyres and no rubbing and handles 10 times better, easy job to do yourself, never done that before but its so simple to do and takes about 2 hours to do the 4, you will probably have to buy new drop links cos when you do it you´ll see that the shock is attached and you´ll be lucky to slacken them off and put them back on, i was 20 quid for 2 new jap made ones from my work but you can get cheapos on ebay for a
  2. saves quite a bit on cash if you wanna have dials and an obd reader, cost you more to go to a mechanic to plug his obd2 in your car to tell you whats wrong, 15 quid well spent.

  6. check your bottom ball joints, mbe with the18´s and spacers their under too much stress, common problem with spacers. also could be on of your alloys buckled a bit, these are the probs i had, sorted both and now straight and smooth as a dye.
  7. Hi, sup peoples? Just ordered my elm 327 obd2 bluetooth reader from ebay, costs around 15 quid straight from hong kong, basically its an obd2 interface that connects to your android device via bluetooth, by downloading the "torque free" app on the android market, you can display live info straight from your ECU on to your device, the torque app gives you plenty of dials to choose from such as manifold pressure,rpm,speed,o2 sensors, maf intake, oil pressure, and much much more, I was a bit optomistic but was pleased with the product, my next mod is going to be a 6-7 inch android tablet running 2
  8. Hey guys I was entruiged with an app that i found on my android, its called "torque free". what I did was order the elm327 obd2 bluetooth reader from ebay for about 15 quid and received it the other day, it doesnt say it is compatible with the celica but i gave it a shot anyway, true enough it came, I plugged it in to my celica, paired my android and what a score! must say it is the shizzle wizzle! got loads of free dials to choose from giving accurate info directly from the cars ecu such as manifold pressure, mass air flow temp and rate, true speed, revs, boost, throttle aperture and tons mor
  9. yeah agree with scarlett, if you got an android you can order the elm327 adapter from ebay for about 12 quid, download the app "torque lite" for free and bob´s your uncle, prob just somethin stupid like the mechanic forgot to reconnect a lambda sensor or somethin!
  10. hit the nail on the head pretty much mate, the pulsing mostly points towards the discs being warped as I had the same problem( used to notice it more when the weather was damp or wet and even turning), however the sliders on the callipers are probably rusted up a bit due to sitting around, you prob won´t need to replace them but I would recommend spending a little time cleaning up the sliders with a wire brush, clean up your callipers too but be very carefull with the wire brush as not to damage the rubber seals on the pistons or else a repair kit will be on your agenda, copper grease it all u
