Sorry we couldn't make it this year Les/Anne. I did reply to your pm but not sure if you got it. We had to stay local due to my fathers ill health so went to Tenby (Pembroke) a few weeks ago and it poured down with rain the whole time turning the field into a swamp!! Looks like you had great weather and got to see the sunset this time. I wish we could have been there :( Maybe next year. I'd go back 20 years ad buy loads of properties and land in the area around Cardiff Bay before the Barrage and waterfront developments took place. I'd be living it up on a tropical island somewhere now! B)

Just had a right old light show here too Jappy. I'm on a night shift in a control tower with panoramic views, I love watching electrical storms rolling up the channel but our equipment is sensative and keeps tripping out with the lightning. It's getting annoying now though as the rains so heavy I have to turn the telly right up :!Removed!:

I haven't posted for ages but often pop in for a browse and catch up on the goss. There is a lot of spam flying around as Jim said but then there always has been (c'mon Jim do you want me to drag up some of your "I need some food what should i eat" threads!). Some of them are pretty pointless but give me a chuckle on a boring night shift and I would rather have something to read than nothing. I do take your point though Jim they have been getting pretty grim lately but then who am I to moan (which I'm not) when I hardly contribute at all. A valid point I think made in this thread is the amount of pinned topics that have accumalated over time and reduce the amount of threads visible on the front page. To move them would defeat the object of having pinned topics visible but couldn't they be tidied up or looked at to see if they are still valid. P.S Hello all I'm still around.
