  1. Hi, I managed to replace the pump by half unscrewed the front bumper. Then you able to get enough space to reach the pump. The problem is the pump is short circuited and gone. One tip, when you replace the pump with the empty washer tank, you need to push several time of the level to let the air gone. Then the washer will come out.
  2. Hi, i think i am going to give a try this weekend. i found a video here to access the water bottle of Toyota corolla, i hope it is the same for my corolla verso.
  3. Hi oldcodger, Thanks! I went to Toyota dealer and they said the washer motor is gone. They quote 140 quids to replace it. Is it a alright price? Any guide that i can do i by myself? Best regards Cluo
  4. Hi, My 05 registered Corolla Verso had some problem with the screen washer. When I pull the level, the front wind screen washer fluid doesn't squirt out. I thought the washer fluid was run out. Actually it is quite full. The back screen one works fine. Anyone now what the problem is? Does the fuse could cause the problem? If so, why only the front one doesn't work? Best regards Cluo
  5. Hi, I have a question about the tachometer of my Corolla verso 1.8 vvt-i MMT. When I drove around 60-70 MPH, the tachometer usually goes above 3000 rpm, is it normal? I remember with my old 97 registered Renualt Megane 1.6e, it normally goes only above 2000 rpm. And only when I drive 80~90 mph and it reaches to 3000 rpm. best regards Cheng
  6. Hi, Today I noticed that it takes a little bit longer for my Corolla Verso to start. Normally when I change the gear to Neutral and press the button, the car start right away - (around 0.3 second maybe?) But today it probably takes 0.6 second (double the time) to start. It sounds like the sparks plugs trying to ignite the fuel. The car has been left in the sun for about 1 hour after previous drive. the our door temperature is about 32 'c. Does it normal? Thanks

  8. Hi paigerich, yes, mine doesn't have the temperature gauge, and the light does go off after some time. Thanks for all your replies!
  9. Hi all, This is my second thread of this forum. I just had my 2005 Corolla Verso for about a week. The milage is 47,200 miles. When I accelerate the car from stop, I somehow can feel the gear changing, like the car is pull back and start to move ahead. Is this feeling normal for MMT engine or not? Thanks!
  10. Hi dervdave, So it is normal right? coz i never seen it on my old Renault. And I don't have the full user manual. Worried that it is a malfunction.
  11. Hi Steven, Thanks for the reply. It's said on the brief guide, a blue light means "Low Engine Coolant temperature indicator light". and a red light means "High engine coolant temperature indicator light". My car is just serviced by the dealer. I assume the coolant should be full.
  12. Hi, I am new to this forum. I just bought my first Toyota Corolla Verso yesterday. But today when I start my car, the Low Engine Coolant temperature light (Blue color) is on. And after I drive about couple of minutes, it goes off. I am not sure whether this is normal? The outdoor temperature is about 19 'c. Hopefully someone could answer my question. Thanks!
