  1. Cheers for that but I don't seem to have the facility to change my display name, all I can change is email and password. Maybe one of the administrators will read this and offer some help. Thanks Mark
  2. will someone please tell me how to change my display name, I've posted this question 3 times now with no reply. Thanks Mark
  3. How do you change your display name?

  4. Yes I agree with the above posts, I have a 2007 D4D 2.0 with 87,000 and had the head gasket issue. Dealer changing the engine under the extended warranty no quibbles. Dealer told me that it is due to carbon build up on top of pistons so the pistons have been re-designed on the refurbished engines. I think that Toyota really want to put this head gasket problem behind them and will not take the chance of fitting sub standard engines. I too was going to get rid once the work was d
  5. Hi, How do you change your user name. Cheers Mark
  6. Hi All, I'm new to the club and was hoping for some advice please. Had the car since January this year and have suffered the head gasket failure on my 2007 D4D 2.0 Avensis. Dealers been absolutely brilliant, refurbished engine and new injectors as well, only because they had to damage one to get it out, had to be replaced as a set. Something to do with them being type1 or type 2 injectors anyway I'm chuffed to bits. Had a new clutch fitted while the engine was out to avoid a £1200 bill later on down the line so just had to pay for parts. Anyway the air con has not worked since I bought the car
