  1. Sorry for my vagueness, just never had this problem before. I just get this nagging doubt something is wrong. I filled up recently it was 10.64 litres which equates to 2.34 gallons. I got about 87 miles before I had to refuel. Don't know if this helps. I know more accurate way is to refuel the whole tank so will be also doing this shortly. Many thanks for reading and especially for posting a response. One of the reasons I joined this Toyota community.
  2. Hi bought 2006 1.4 petrol corolla with 66,000 on the clock. I feel the car is drinking fuel excessively as put in over £30 and it only lasted a few days before the low fuel lamp came on. How do I find out what the problem is as can't afford to fill up every couple of days!!! Thank you for your time and assistance.
  3. Hi I am thinking of upgrading from a 2005 Yaris to an Auris probably get 2007 to 2009 model and probably 1.6 petrol. Can people who own one please advise what the reliability’s is like and any common faults and how cheap and easy are they to fix. I have had Yaris for 2 years and love the reliability’s as don’t have to worry that I won’t be able to make it to work especially in the winter. I also can’t afford to have a car that will always be off the road and cost a lot in repairs. Thanks for reading Shahid
  4. Thanks for the replies greatly appreciated.
  5. Hi my Toyota Yaris 1.3 is a write off after an accident and I am thinking of buying a rolla 2006 so not to have issues with oil consumption. Any comments on whether to buy 1.4 or 1.6 and anything else to look for will be greatly appreciated.
  6. I have recently bought a toyota yaris 2005. Can anyone recommend a specialist/garage who are reasonable with regards to prices and they actually know what they are doing. Thanks
  7. I am in the process of purchasing my first Yaris. My budget is £2000. I wanted to know which generation to buy for reliability ie 1999 to 2005 model or 2006 model onwards. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
  8. My budget is £4500, is the 1.4 diesel more problematic than the petrol version. Also what is 1.4 petrol version like?
  9. Hi I am thinking of owning an Auris and would be grateful if Auris owners can help steer me in the right direction with regards to my potential purchase. I am contemplating either a petrol or 1.4 diesel. I want a hassle free car so any advice on whether to go for petrol or diesel and what size engine would be great. Furthermore what are the common faults to look out for on my purchase? Thanks in advance for your help
  10. My budget was £5000 so looks like the first generation which means the problematic MMT transmission which is putting me off:(

  14. Hi I am a new member, I have an old E reg GL corolla. I am looking to upgrade but I am not sure which one to get, be it petrol or diesel. Any advice or comments would be appreciated. I have a wife and 1 kid. I travel 14 miles per day to work. I also have to do the usual shopping chores and the occasional motorway journey. Perhaps in the future I may need to commute further a field so an economical car would desirable.
