  1. I'm in very much the same position as mudinuri with my 2003 auto,I love driving the car and being disabled it's so easy to get in and out of plus I've spent loads on it in extras and a left foot throttle but it is very thirsty, problem is what to have next that does what I want, looks ok,easy to get in and out of and is realiable and reasonable performance in the 2-3k price range ?.apart from the fuel the Rav ticks all boxes.. Les
  2. I've been watching this thread as I have a 2003 auto with 69k on it now so wouldnt be to suprised to get the ecu problem anytime (hope not though) It would be handy to know the gearbox engineer in Donny if case I ever need one and I'm only 20 minutes away ? Les
  3. Hi I've just spotted your reply sorry,it's just a standard 8 spoke alloy I'm after same as this on ebay,oh and it's 5x100 or I would have had it for £20 !!! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171255293283?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
  4. Thanks for all the replys,It's looking like they are 5x100 which is a bit of a bugger coz I want a 5x114.3,local scrappy has one but its in poor condition needing a refurb, thanks again for the help Les
  5. Hi Rav4 owner here needing info if you dont mind, could somebody tell me if the wheels on a Toyota Avensis 2.0 D-4D T3-S are 5x100 or 5x114.3 ? I have looked on the internet but cant find an answer.. Les

  7. I just happen to have one that I got with the intension of fitting to my 2003 rav Mk2,then realised it was for a Rav Mk1..After I'd started buffing it up !!! It's stainless steel and in good nick...

  12. I've been following this post being the owner of a 2003 Rav auto myself, glad you have it fixed at last after all the trouble you've had with it,at least you tale could be of help to another Rav 4 owner Les
  13. Well thats it the Bridgestones are on their way,and as you say David it will give me peace of mind, any problems and I would be thinking"what if" !! there for my summer wheels anyway (if we get one) I seem to be spending some money on this !Removed! car ;) twin exhaust next if the lotterys kind,or someone you all know decides to sell his wifes !!!!! Les
  14. Just read the last reply from GreyRacer and the last thing I want is to lose any acceleration as I've just come from a Honda civic 1.7 vtec coupe and I miss the performance as it is,looks like the its the Bridgestones then.....And thanks for the help, all sorted in the time it took to make a coffee and saved me maybe dropping a b****ck Cheers Les
  15. Thanks for the speedy reply's,my concern is with it being an auto and any adverse effects as I'm a bit wary knowing the problems that the auto ravs of the same year as mine seem to have, and for just a tad more I can get a set of bridgestones where the others where two pirrelis and two goodyear, and I would prefer the same back and front....oh decisions decisions !!!
