Thanks for your suggestion Alex. I'll give that a go.

I've recently purchased a 1998 Corolla 1.6 GS. It seems there is something awry with the fuel gauge. The needle sits at around halfway. It does move a little up and down but not much. It stays in this position even with the ignition turned off. Does anyone have any ideas about this please.
