Hehehe - yes, I've fallen in love with him - he is super cute with loads of character

I think you're right. On second thoughts I'll go for the genuine Toyota mat :) It's only an extra £10 and I want the very best for my new Ivor (the Aygo) Thanks for your help and advice, Jenny
  3. I was soooo torn between the cirrus white, and the cirrus white with black roof...(both same price) I agree about the more expensive metallic choices and value for money. PS; The Bluetooth / satnav is great and the LED lights on the move with style will further help with visibility! Jenny I've gone for the Cirrus white Move with Style after looking at metallic colours and model levels I thought having a basic white colour with the top spec was better value for money. A colleague at work said to me that the colour doesn't really matter as you don't see it when you're inside the car, and as I
  4. Also, sorry Luke - I can't help with your original question (not mechanically minded at all.......) :(
  5. Hi Isobel, I've just traded in my 1.6L VW Beetle as p/x for a new Aygo aka Ivor. I can honestly say I haven't noticed the smaller engine at all (granted I only just got the Aygo), but I have taken it for a decent run, on motorway etc.. I think that it's so lightweight (as Raistlin said), that I really can't tell the difference. Seems very nippy and I don't seem to need to accelerate any harder and it also handles extremely well. I'm sure you'll fall in love the moment you first drive your new Aygo! One slight difference is that my beetle would take 5th gear easily at about 30mph, whereas the

    My Toyota

Well I've picked up my new Aygo and it's a manual transmission as ordered. I Absolutely love it - here's to lots of miles of fun together. It's absolutely perfect. I'm sure your car will be too, and just as you ordered Wiz - :) And yes frostyballs you were right - registered today, 18th Feb. Although the "my toyota" website still doesn't recognise it's reg Nr yet.

Lol, what I mean is the semi automatic costs an additional £500 to buy than the manual so it would be a nice freebie! Don't mind being spoiled every now and again anyway - a girl deserves it

Think I would be happy with the semi auto. Free £500 upgrade??

    My Toyota

Hi all, Not sure if anyone could advise, but here goes: I collect my new Aygo tomorrow, and thought I would register with My Toyota. My registration Nr isn't yet recognised so I entered the VIN and the vehicle details all appeared. However - I ordered a manual transmission vehicle, but all the information that's brought up on the my Toyota site indicates that the car is a semi automatic - not manual... I've double checked the order form and I definitely ordered the manual! Could this just be a case of toyota adding incorrect details to their internal website or should I expect to see the sem
  11. Just to add - my garage has no ventilation, and has a bit of a leaky roof!
  12. I cant see that leaving your car inside a garage would cause any damage to the body work. Unless you leave it for long periods and the garage is very humid. Before getting my Aygo, I kept my vw beetle in the garage for years, if it had been raining when I parked her up for the night then she would still be wet in the morning, but she didn't rust at all in over 10 years - body work still as good as new!

I will - I'm really looking forward to collecting it. Thanks again for your help. :P

Excellent - Thank you so much. I'll go for the one from car mats 4u :) Thanks again, Jenny
  15. I pick up my brand new Aygo on Tuesday and I can't wait!! I work as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, and quite often have muddy rigger boots that I need to carry about in the boot of my car. I want to keep my aygo in tip top condition and am therefore looking for a boot mat that fits well, but doesn't cost the £50 that toyota charge! I've seen a few on eBay, but not sure which one to go for - I want to spend no more than £20 Any ideas? Thanks, Jenny
