  1. Hi there!

    i bought a toyota ipsum automat. (petrol)1996 it has 175000 km & i wanna change the oil ,could u tell me what kind of engine oil will good for it  sintetic or semi s. 10-40 or thicker? & what kind of brands offer me.

      Hi Peter, pleased to help but you don't say what country you are in - that would be interesting to know thanks.  I used Amsoil 100% synthetic 5W-30 oil & the Amsoil EAO Nano Fibre Filter.  The dealer for the oil was local here in Christchurch, New Zealand so that was handy: http://syntheticoil.co.nz/

      It is the most expensive oil / filter I've ever bought!  But hopefully will do a good job.  Oil + filter was about $140.  I got a 15% discount as I also ought the auto transmission oil.

      Have recently replaced the factory radio/DVD/Nav system with a no-name Android operating based system so that went well and am getting that set up now.

      The attached files will help with oil selection.
