  1. What model Auris is this? Engine size? Year model Sent from my SM-A307FN using Tapatalk
  2. I have a 1.3VVTI non turboed Auris and i love it for what it is. Low maintenance, good fuel consumption, comfortable, reliable, solidly build and an awesome cruiser. I have learned to accept it as is. Best mods you can do to enjoy the car is cosmetic mods. Sent from my SM-A307FN using Tapatalk
  3. Good advice by@furtula Sent from my SM-A307FN using Tapatalk
  4. Awesome information and guidance. Did this repair to my Auris about a year ago and it is holding up well even when we have rain here by us. Sent from my SM-A307FN using Tapatalk
  5. Welcome to the Auris Family Congratulations on the Auris and thumbs up on gifting your Son the Aygo May it treat him well and he also appreciates the awesome gesture by his dad. Sent from my SM-A307FN using Tapatalk

  7. The lil 1.3 Auris needs a bit of work to get it going especially on hilly roads. I love mine as is and i have learned to appreciate it for what it is. @FROSTYBALLS has made so good valid points. Sent from my SM-A307FN using Tapatalk
  8. I took ownership of my 2011 Auris 1.3 and i have been doing my own services to date. I got the car with 159 000km on the clock, did 15k service intervals until 200 000km were i started doing services every 10 000km. I also changed the gearbox oil at 200 000km as i don't believe the story that the gearbox is filled for life. My gears where smoother even when the car was cold, so new gearbox oil did wonders to the gearbox and i used the OEM Toyota gearbox oil. I change the spark plugs every 75-80 000km. I will be keeping this car forever as it does not cost me much to keep it on the roa

  10. Mmmhh Further investigation would need the sump to be removed and see if there is any metal shavings at bottom of the sump and check condition of bearings. Sent from my SM-A307FN using Tapatalk

  12. Thanks for this post as i need to also replace the top section as the gearknob itself is still in good condition. Sent from my SM-A307FN using Tapatalk
  13. Mmmh You might need to visit an electrician to check the entire electrical system as there might be a short on it. Sent from my SM-A307FN using Tapatalk
  14. Hello@sveip Which model are you buying as per@FROSTYBALLS question? I have a 2011 1.3vvti model that has been reliable and faultless. I do my own maintenance, i got it at 159 000km in April 2018 and currently it is sitting on 240000km. Sent from my SM-A307FN using Tapatalk
  15. Is the EGR Valve not on the 1.4D Auris? Sent from my SM-A307FN using Tapatalk
