  1. At the end I removed Corolla from my shortlist. High pricing and absence of Android Auto, and in my country, no JBL option lead to my decision. I have ordered a car of another brand.
  2. Ok. Did not know that. Carbuyers today have high demand on connectivity so to ignore Apple Carplay and Android Auto on the european market would be a bad decision by Toyota.
  3. European lawmakers have approved a plan to cut carbon dioxide emissions from cars by 20 percent by 2025 and 40 percent by 2030. Due to these plans/requirements all manufacturers now will be interested in providing higher emission figures to make it easier to meet the -40 percent requirement at 2030.
  4. Apple Carplay is available on US spec Corolla. Why should that be excluded on Europe spec cars? Android Auto might be available soon: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-09-21/toyota-is-said-to-agree-to-add-android-auto-in-its-cars
  5. I think US spec Corolla is positioned lower in the market than in Europe. Extras such as HUD and AVS doesn't seem to be available in US. Corolla TS replaces both Auris and Avensis and together with a more expensive hybrid drivetrain it is naturally that Corolla is more expensive in Europe. But it takes time to accept that Toyota prices are not far from premium level.
  6. Thanks! Nice to get some facts. The trim level Executive is pretty expensive and does not even come with navigation as standard. Think they should have made AVS optional. Maybe I should reconsider to go for V60 instead 🤔
  7. Should appear soon on swedish website since Auris has allready been removed.
