    D4D Previa Turbo advice

I have recently replaced, (with much contortionism!), the turbo on my 2003 Previa D4D 2.0l. Now, although car is running, there is no turbo effect. Is there anyone in the club who can give me advice. reples by mail, (tim-lewis@orange.fr), PM or forum. Cheers!
  2. Hi, having just replaced the turbo on my 2003 Previa D4D, I have sapped a vacuum hose connector and "probe" that screws into the inlet manifold elbow. There is no part number on this, only a "ND", (Nipon Denso ?), emblem. Need to name and identify this to find a replacement. It has a 23mm hex head to screw it into the elbow, (10mm diameter thread), with a "probe" after the thread, (thread+probe 27mm length). The external part has a grey plastic cap with the vacuum hose connector, (15mm height above the hex nut + broken hose tail.) Can anyone name this and give me a part number please! Sorry about the poor photo!

    Previa D4D turbo removal

Following my previous post, (Intercooler Location), I was a bit hasty in saying that I had removed the old unit! What an awkward engine ti work on! So many virtually inaccessible bolts! The one that is finally causing all the problem is the 3rd stud holding the turbo to the manifold. I've managed to loosen the nut, but am wondering how the hell I will be able to put it back on as I cant get my fingers into the space!! It's under the two coolant pipes and I can'r remove the lower of the two nuts holding these pipes to the turbo, (hoped I would be able to access this once the turbo can be lifted up. Any advice anyone? No workshop manual available and Toyota tech require that my computer has Windows....I use a Mac!
  4. My 2003 Previa D4D, (2ltr), has blown it's turbo. I can't find a workshop manual for this car. I've managed to remove the old unit, but now need to clean the intercooler of the oil! The pipes lead me to believe that this in in the l/h front wing. Is this correct? How much more of the car do I have to dismantle to access the intercooler? Does anyone know wher I can et a manual for this car? Preferably paper, but a digital one would do! Thanks in advance. Tim
