  1. So I'm planning on replacing the brakes (and rotors) on my 2009 RAV4 (3.5L V6 w/ 3rd row) and I was thinking of using Bosch "QuietCast" brakes, but apparently I can't use the ceramic ones? For example, when I search on Amazon/ebay/Bosch, I'm given the option of using the BP1210 (which I think is the "premium" non-ceramic brake) not the BC1210. If I change my vehicle trim to the V4, I'm now given the option of using the ceramics in front. Oddly, I am given the option of using the ceramics on the rear brakes, regardless of engine size. Can someone explain why? Thanks.
