  1. Thank you so much for this thorough answer! I tried another avensis today and it worked the same.
  2. Hello I'm about to buy a 2010 180.000 km Avensis. I've heard that it is important to check that the EPB works correctly as it is very expensive to fix. I made this video and I'm not sure if it is too slow to lock on? Is this how it is supposed to work? Sorry about the danish language. Thank you!
  3. So how was the sound after replacing the speakers? Do I need to replace the head unit as well?
  4. Thanks, has anyone replaced the speakers/radio? I wonder how much it would cost to get decent audio? If it isn't too expensive I might take the chance and buy the car and then just replace the audio if I'm not satisfied. Else I might look for another used car.
  5. Hi, this is my first post in here so hello everyone! I need a new car and right now I'm considering an Avensis 2010-2013 (not the one with premium JBL audio). I'm from Denmark where cars are very expensive, so that's why I'm considering such an old car. I tried a 2010 model and noticed that the sound quality from the radio wasn't great. I didn't really think about it until I got home, and now I wished I had spent more time testing the audio. I found the sound to have a smiley characteristic with boomy and unfocused bass, unrefined treble and no midrange. So how is the audio compared to similar cars? Maybe the eq in the one I tried was on some weird setting. I not expecting miracles from factory audio and I don't need deep bass I just need clear pleasant sound so I can hear music with my familiy when we go on holiday:) Also, if I end up being dissatisfied with the audio, is it expensive to replace the system? I guess it is more expensive to replace if I buy a version with backup camera right? Thanks Benjamin
