  1. I have read that the HHC is free as part of a service but £45 on its own. Although I will double check that if I am mistaken. Thanks for your reply edit - you can get a HHC on its own
  2. I have a Yaris Hybrid Excel 2014. My last HHC was March 2020, which means I need to get another one since it's been over a year. However, I recently had a problem with my car (it wouldn't start), took it to the dealer's garage today and he disconnected the 12v battery and reconnected it. The car seems fine (for now), but I've seen posts about HHC failing because of the battery being disconnected, and having to come back for the check after ~300 - 500 miles. My question is, if I go for a HHC now, it would surely fail, right? So should I wait until I have driven ~500 miles since the b
  3. Hi all. I will preface this by saying I do not know much about cars so please go easy on me. 🙂 I have a 2014 Yaris Hybrid Excel, keyless entry. Something strange happened today - my car wouldn't start. I was able to unlock it initially, but then I sat down inside and tried to depress the brake so I could start the car, but the brake wouldn't depress. I didn't hear the initial whirring of the brakes that normally happens when I enter my car with the fob. I tried anyway to push the start button, but the car wouldn't start at all.
