  1. couple of cars ago it was fitted with bridgestones didn`t like them , but 22k later they were still only slightly part worn and i tend to enjoy / rag my cars. but sounds like a tyre fault , don`t let the dealer fob you off at that mileage they should recognise that something is wrong.
  2. best bet is to just check with a main dealer, i think it should still be covered with warranty.
  3. like i have said before on this subject, i use eco around town, normal on motorway etc. and sport on country /moor roads enjoying using the paddles and the car responds great. in eco on main roads the power tends to fade on upgrades, in sport the car is better cornering, sharper pick up and feels more agile but remember to use the paddles as you would with a manual box.
  4. have had the same in not registering last journeys but seemed to right itself after a couple of days, but when home it shows the car to be at no:7 or no:9 , a good 75mtr away from home address no : 8 gps ?
  5. wife laughs at the sat nav if i use it to somewhere i go often and it tells me to turn around etc. because i go a better shorter way , however i think the 22 version is better than the one in my 2020 design .although it seems to keep you on ring roads and thus often the long way round to your` destination.
  6. yeah , dealer phoned me great deals etc. asked for figures ...nothing , i phoned them he promised to email the figures...nothing, so having got the knew car bug we went in person to the dealer and give our custom and i assume commission to another salesman who was very good and fell over backwards to sort us out. like people have commented the sales staff don`t seem to stay long in any dealership and don`t generally know their product as well as the customer.
  7. my gr sport is ash grey with metallic black painted roof and mirrors.
  8. i normally just arrange my own insurance and then i know i`m sorted.
  9. don`t worry about it just leave things to sort them selves out , i`m sure you will come back and just start the car as normal, people panic about things that are not a problem.
  10. due to the recent delays for chips , grandson sold bmw for great price but then had to rent car for nearly 4 months before getting new car, ended up catch 22.
  11. just forget about daylight saving , just set it up for gps , i had the same with my previous design but when i set it to gps it changed instantly to the correct time.
  12. the new sat nav is better than the previous , but trying it out in manchester , at a tee junction my car said turn right but my comparison tom tom said left , i did as the boss told me , all ended well. the boss and the car were right.
  13. only use them when on country / moor roads , but i haven`t noticed much difference in fuel consumption when as in a manual car you get into top a.s.a.p. but i think they are great as i got used to them in my 2ltr design, play with them and have some fun.
  14. i couldn`t say but would assume there wouldn`t be much difference unless you actually timed it with a stop watch, it`s something i assume most folk would not think about when choosing a car.
  15. just over 1k in mine and delighted as i was with my 20plate design. fuel economy improving as engine slacks off used on motorway ,country /moorland and around town, enjoy.
  16. yeah no buttons , struggled a bit to set up downloaded user guide on my t but doesn`t apply, just the same as my previous design, bit of a poor show from toyota surely the user guide should be applicable to your` current car .please pass on the link for the new user guide.
  17. the new screen is great compared to the old version ,the sat nav having tried it out for fun is far superior to the previous version , have`nt found out how to increase the volume yet any tipps welcome.
  18. you have a new car , just enjoy it, if it breaks toyota will fix it, its only a machine
  19. yes you can switch it off on the steering wheel.
  20. yeah no buttons , struggled a bit to set up downloaded user guide on my t but doesn`t apply, just the same as my previous design, bit of a poor show from toyota surely the user guide should be applicable to your` current car .please pass on the link for the new user guide.
  21. i`m sure all 2ltr have acoustic glass.
  22. only had bridgestones once, 20+k on front so wear was great but didn`t give much feedback through the steering wheel.
  23. sorry haven`t been on for a while, yeah still got 0%
  24. only had it brake once, when parking my design when new, i suppose the car thought to fast and to close took me by surprise. i assume it stays active.
