  1. Hi all, Sorry about the delay in replying to you. I have been searching for the right diagram to show you the part I mean. Here it is: See the middle pipe that connects to the condensor. The one with the red highlighted text above it. This one: This is Refrigerant Liquid Pipe 1. This is the part I need. I hope this is of help to you. F Kind Regards, Mary-Ellen
  2. My mechanic Dave from Brooklyn Motors, Malpas, Newport gave me the part number.
  3. Hi all, I have a 1999 Toyota Avensis 1.8 GLS Petrol Saloon. Unfortunately the air conditioning is gone. I am just getting hot air. My Air Conditioning Refrigerant Liquid Pipe is corroded. I need to get a new pipe. The problem is I tried three suppliers so far and can't get it. The Part Number is 88716-05090 and is called: Air Conditioning Refrigerant Liquid Pipe C I would be grateful if any of you know of some supplier where I can get this. The rest of the car is still going well. I have had this car since 2002 and it is still a lovely car to drive today. Too good a car for the scrap yard. It's just unfortunate the air conditioning went during the hottest week of the year. Kind Regards, Mary-Ellen
  4. Hi Peterd_rd, I sympathise with you for your air conditioning not working. It would be wise for you to get it professionally checked as you could have a leak. The most likely cause will be the Air Conditioning Refrigerant Liquid Pipe corroded. If this is right, you need a new pipe. I have a 1999 Toyota Avensis 1.8 GLS Petrol Saloon. Unfortunately the air conditioning is gone. I am just getting hot air, the same as you. My Air Conditioning Refrigerant Liquid Pipe is corroded. I need to get a new pipe. 5. Hi Konrad, Thank you for your reply. Yes, the instrument panel only lights up when the lights are switched on. I am pretty sure though that I used to see a green light when I switched on the sidelights/dipped headlights. It was somewhere at the top of the dashboard, but exactly where I don't know. I thought it was between the two indicator lights, but there is no bulb behind there. The only other place I can think of is to the left of the left indicator light. My car is with Brooklyn Motors in Newport at the moment. They changed a few other bulbs yesterday.
  6. I agree with Konrad and tallDave about the green dipped headlight indicator light on the instrument panel. I have a 1999 1.8 GLS Avensis, and a few bulbs were gone. My car mechanic can't find the green headlight indicator. He is convinced there isn't one, but I remember seeing a green light when the side lights or dipped headlights were switched on. Therefore, I would be grateful if someone could show me where that light is on the dashboard.
  7. Where is the green Parking Light Symbol on Instrument Panel? I have a 1999 Toyota Avensis. My car mechanic can't find the bulb location for the green Parking Light symbol on the dashboard. It needs a new bulb. He thinks it doesn't exist, but I am sure there definitely is a Parking Light on the dashboard. Could someone with a Toyota Avensis show me a photo of their dashboard with the Parking Light on?
