  1. My 2014 hybrid does 400 miles per tank.
  2. https://jpnz.co.nz/blog/2018/07/11/toyota-estima-hybrid-car-owners-manual-2006-2012-e-manual-view-online/
  3. I have a switch next to steering wheel(was there when I bought the car). In my case Dvd works only when gearbox is in Parking. Doesn't matter if handbrake is on or off. When I press magic button and get it in to Drive screen works normally:), but it has to be pressed while in Parking. It does not unlock screen when in Drive and press button.
  4. Welcome. Kaspar Krumis in Wigan is your man for Hybrid.
  5. Hope this will help: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/165573198271?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=1g6e52n0RZW&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=2OFN4vUMQbu&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY If that will not be good, try contact EHYBRID on Ebay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/hybridplanet?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=kd2tGMm1RR6&sssrc=3418065&ssuid=2OFN4vUMQbu&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY I have set of Genuine front wipers from them. fits perfectly.
  6. There is no issue. I think tailgate are design not to be open automatically through button on the tailgate. Just answering to Coalman post about power opening tailgate in his car.
  7. I have 2014 hybrid and tailgate only open automatically with button next to reverse mirror. I open it from key or manually when I'm outside the car. It does close automatically when I press button on tailgate.
  8. Your 7.2 km/l is actually 7.2m/l. After conversion numerical value it is in miles/l but somehow it shows units as km/l. I worked it out and it does match. So yours 7.2 km/l it is actually 7.2mil/l wich is 11.53 km/l and that equals 27mpg. My 2014 Hybrid use 33mpg combined and 35mpg motorway only.
  9. Thank you. I will pass the message to a friend as this was for him :) I have no issues with my one so far 😀
  10. Anyone know where can I get it from? It is for 2012 Hybrid.
  11. OSRAM XENARC NIGHT BREAKER LASER D4S, +200% more brightness, HID xenon bulb, discharge lamp, 66440XNL-HCB, duo box (2 lamps) https://amzn.eu/d/2kmebLT OSRAM XENARC ORIGINAL D4S HID, xenon headlight bulb, 66440, folding carton box (1 piece) https://amzn.eu/d/d0c09IY I use second one as was not aware that first one exists when I need to replace mine bulbs. Lots of ppl on FB recommend first one.
  12. I have Kaspars phnone number. PM me if you still wish to contact him. I will not post his number here as I'm not sure if he wants to. But from business point of view he probably will want it.
  13. Unfortunately i did not. I decided that I will buy beam deflectors when I arrive to Eurotunel terminal in Folkestone and stick the round part of them only on the headlights(just in case when policeman check for them they will be in place), but only open shop in terminal was Starbucks. Ended up dazzling people for nearly 3 weeks after sun goes down.
  14. I think poor MPG reports from Hybrid versions are from people that keep driving it like petrol car and expect miracle. You need to adapt certain habits and MPG will get better. Also it is a brick on wheels not a sports car, if you will driving Estima like sports car you will get better fuel consumption on thirsty american V8 😁
  15. Hi all, If anyone is interested attached 28Mb fuel report from my trip from Poland. Fuel efficiency, energy consumption etc. Regards Report_2022-07-16_08-00-01-1.html
  16. Someone in Facebook group posted that he use below on his Estima https://www.roofbox.co.uk/scripts/rbvehsel3.php?emulate=roofbar&query=8805
  17. Unfortunately 102 was only E5 available on distribitor. Rest of them was E10. Luckily for me both petrol types In Poland Pb95 and Pb98 are E5, so I save some $$$ as it cost roughly £1.5 for Pb95 and £1.7 for Pb98.
  18. Hi all, Can anyone confirm if thats correct xenon headlight ballast for 2014 Hybrid Estima? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/363491587175?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=fNE8kREqQb6&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=2OFN4vUMQbu&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  19. Is that mean that 2004 Previa have same lights setup as Estima?
  20. I have 2.4 hybrid one not V6. There is topic on that forum that says that E10 hurt the 2.4 in long run. Also when I spoke with Kasper from Wigan few weeks ago he confirmed that.
  21. In about a month I will travel to Poland for 3 weeks holiday and I have 2 question. 1. Fuel. I know that Estimas aren't suitable to use E10 fuel just E5. In Germany Aral(BP) petrol station offer 102 octane petrol that apparently during production no bio ethanol is added. I'm planing to refuel 4 times in total in Germany so is it safer for engine to use Aral 102Octane or stick with usual E5? 2. Beam deflectors. Since UK cars need beam deflectors when travel through Europe to not dazzle drivers driving from other direction because the angle that lights work on. Does our Estimas have light focused more on left side of the road, or in Japan like in US they lights are set central(illuminate evenly both sides of the road)? BTW beam deflectors avaible in UK does not list Toyota Estima in leaflet with instructions where to stick them.
  22. So I just fill up my fuel tank second time and I was able to calculate average petrol usage. Total driving distance 440miles/709km. Petrol used 54l Average fuel consumption 7,61 l/100km 37.1 mpg. Around 260km/161miles was 2 motorway trips, rest was daily in town usage and commute. All together I take it as a good score considering vehicle size/weight and engine size.
  23. Hi, I would say 7 seater is more then enough for 2 adults and 4 children. Luggage space when last row of seate is up I would say that 2 large suitcases will fit in the floor area. I suggest to go to dealer that have all range of Estimas in stock. That's what I did when I couldn't decide which shape I want. In Birmingham there are at least 2 dealers with big stock. I went to this one: Japanese MPV Motors 96 Leopold St, Birmingham B12 0UD 0121 679 6721 https://g.co/kgs/Y1W5gL Good luck.
  24. Hey. I'm using Hybrid Assistant. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=priusfan.info.bthsd10 Unfortunately if you are Apple user you won't be able to use it. It is only for Android devices. App is free to use, but you will have to buy OBD reader. Recommended one cost arround £75.
