  1. Trying to clear space out of my lockup, so I'm getting rid of all the Mk3 Supra stuff I have. Selling it as one lot. There's all sort of stuff in there. Off the top of my head, some of the bits are: 2 x N/A cylinder heads w/valves few cam covers 1 or more starters alternator(s) pair of mirrors. front windscreen 2 rear quarter windows. bits and bobs from the heater system Blue cloth interior, door cards, rear quarter trim and dashboard, think I have 2 sets of dial units as well various pieces of pipework from the engine '88 ECU wiper motors rear spats (ones that go in front of rear wheels) sump (possibly a pair, in fact) I think there's also a set of pistons bunch of other such stuff too, can't remember exactly what, never got round to sifting through it all. As I said, it's all going as one, need the space. I'm in Port Glasgow on the west coast of Scotland. Turn up with £120 and a van, and you can have the lot.
  2. I had to settle for the 'baby', a 32 GTS type-M. It's painted in house of Kolor kandy red, de-spoilered and has a veilside C1 kit. Stage 1 mods on the engine, although in the summer I'm going to look to picking up either an RB25 or 26 and getting it converted. I was looking at GTR's at first, but spotted this locally. Went to see it and fell in love with it, so I'm well chuffed.
  3. I've gone over to the dark side, and sold my Mk3 and bought a Skyline. I now have a garage full of random spares, so once I get pics and whatnot done, I'll be sticking a few bits in the for sale section, so if anyone is after anything in specific for an N/A, keep an eye out. Got a blue cloth interior I'm punting too. front/back seats, door cards and dashboard. Hopefully I'll get my lazy ar*e round to getting it all up soon.

  7. The front bumper looks very much to be the Extreme Dimensions Vader one. Link Side skirts look like Erebuni's, although the duct at the back seems a bit smaller Link I think those back spats might be the Veilside (Or Veilside-style copies).

  10. I have a set of clear sidelights/indicators, and US/Japspec rear-running lights for sale. Indicators were on my car for a few months, but are still in near-new condition, and will come with the required pair of orange bulbs. The rear running lights are for US and Japanese models that have the red lights on the rear quarter trim. I bought them to convert them to use as front side repeaters, by using a spare set of headlight bulb holders, but I never got round to doing it, so they're still brand new, unused, and in their packets. I bought them from the States last year for altogether about 90 quid or thereabouts. Looking for £40 for them, plus about £7 for postage(47 all in, according to my abacus, which was confirmed by my toes), which will be recorded special delivery. Oh, should add these are for the facelift front end only. (Post title got clipped too, should say '56k'rs take note') Pics:
  11. I have a DMS4 S.E Lite Playstation 2 chip for sale. It allows you to play backup and import games without the need for a swap disc (Although it doesn't support .elf files or homebrew as it's the lite version). Can be used with any PS2 model, V1-14, slimline or full fat. It's never been installed and is brand new. Cost £34, selling for £23, which includes recorded delivery post costs.

    Mk3 Ecu's

    Engine warning light has started to come on at random times, and after running a diagnostics check, it turned out 4 different codes. 24, 31, 41 and 52, if I recall. The one thing they all have in common is ECU is one of the listed causes for each. So I have a spare one in the garage and I want to try and see if it cures the problem. Rather annoying as I'd just put the car up for sale, and it goes and does this. I guess it just grew attatched to me and didn't want to leave........
  13. Just gone off for the first adverts, and I refuse to watch the rest. Who the hell is Tim Lovejoy, a man who, at the start of the show confessed he 'knows nothing about cars'. Awesome. I'm sure football fans would be as thrilled if Paul O'Grady started hosting their shows. I lost interest after the small segment about the Evo, where Jeremy raced a plane. Oops, sorry, meant Tiff, but it's hard to tell these days, since they're intent on ripping TG off at every opportunity. Only a matter of time before Jason Potato gets a poodle perm, tight jeans and starts ripping on VBH for having her teeth whitened...

    Would there be any issues with replacing the ECU in a '90 Manual N/A, with one from an 88 manual N/A?
  15. It's from an old Japanese kids show called Pitagora Suichi (So now you know the words, you can sing along at the end.. :P ), which tranlsates as Pythagoras Switch.

  17. I had no idea rallying was made part of the x-games. That's just excellent, I shall have to keep an eye out for that, assuming C5 still cover it. That was actualy better than watching a proper rally stage, because of the way the cameras were set up, especially that moving one in the middle that followed the car from the front.
  18. I am selling a 2U Marshall Valvestate VS120/120 120watt stereo Poweramp. It's used but in excellent condition. Few scratches here and there and a bit of rack rash, but all purely cosmetic. These units have been out of production for some years now, and are hard to come by nowadays. The amp runs at 120watts in mono mode, and 60 watts per side in stereo mode. It has 2 inputs for mono or stereo and features 4 outputs, 2 per side, allowing for a possible 4 cab stereo setup. It also has 2 Valvestate modes. Depth and Dimension. One of which adds extra low end to simulate the effects of playing through a cab at a higher volume level, the other allows you to switch it to a more PA-style sound, for running mics/mixers and such through. Both these modes are footswitchable via rear-mounted sockets. (No footswitches included with unit) The front panel has knobs for volume, presence and resonance. The latter two acting as extra bass treble controls to add extra body to the sound. The rear also has the impedance switch and supports 4 8 or 16 ohms. Power is via a standard IEC kettle-style lead. Manual will also be included. This is a very loud poweramp, which is my reason for sale. I only use it for home use, and have a small room, so I can't crank it up. During the 2 years I've owned it, if the volume knob had been numbered, I would say it has literally never been past #1. I've recently replaced it with the smaller 20watt EL84 Marshall poweramp, which is valve powered, and my sound hasn't changed. To me, the VS120 seems to have the same level of warmth as the new amp. I'm looking for £180 for it. Postage of the item will be about £25. (This thing is HEAVY.) Pics: Front Top Rear
  19. I was gutted at the race. Me and my mate dished out 20 quid each a ticket, and I bought a car park pass for a tenner. We got straight into the parking because of the pass, and at no point during the day were any tickets checked at all. Coulda saved myself 40 quid.... :P There was so much good action in the first 2 BTC races. We stood right on the corner between Seat Curves and Scotsman, which was were a lot of the offs happened during those 2 races. Last race was more of a sprint really, but still good to watch. Porsche race was a bit of a sprint as well, but was amazing to watch. Those things can go, and they sound grand as well. We had moved to the hairpin for that, and saw some nice overtaking, especially from people taking advantage of that puddle that had been on the inside all day. Everyone was avoiding it, and a few brave souls went straight for it and managed to keep the inside line and gain a position. I took a bunch of pics as well, but most came out bad. My camera is seemingly cack, which was a bit of a downer. Plus I never got to see Miss VBH in person, although I did come within slapping distance of Matt "Obviously it's was Plato's fault, and not mine" Neal, which was tempting.... Once I sift through my pics and bin the crap quality ones, I'll stick a few up.
  20. Someone should tell that guy from the Escort forums about this, the one with the fake Supra. He could tell people he bought this and that the front mounted airfiltercooler gives about 600hp.

  22. I've got a pair of Seymour Duncan Humbuckers for sale as follows: SH-PG1 Pearly gates. Neck position. 4 conductor wiring, for series or parallel options. Currently wired in series. Roughly 13 inches of wire from baseplate to end. Designed around the original 59 Les paul PAF's with a nice bluesy tone. Sounds cracking through overdrive. Pic : SH-8 Invader. Bridge position. This is a high output pickup designed for metal tones. It has huge black oxide pole pieces caps and looks the part. Also has 4 conductor wiring, and is currently wired in series. Very fat sounding, will have tears running down your leg when you crank up through the classic 'scooped V' setting. Roughly 9.5 inches of cable from baseplate to end. Pic: Both pickups were put in my guitar just under 9 years ago. They're both in excellent condition, bit of dust on them, but otherwise sound excellent. Original retail prices were 89 quid each, although these days the Pearly is 77 and the Invader is about 64. Looking for 80 quid for the pair of them, or will split for 40 each.   23. As I've read, the main difference between the pre and post facelift lights are that the post-facelift ones are apparently slightly taller. However when I got my clear ones, I happened to have a pair of old pre-facelifts kicking around, and in a side by side comparison they were identical, so I'm not sure why vendors sell them as two different ones. Wolfie, if you're also able to do anything to make the rear Mk3 lights looks sexy, you'd be a legend, mate.

If it wasn't so far away, I'd would've bid for it to get the engine for a conversion, but I've already done a 16hr round trip to trailer a Supra from down that way, and it's a drive I never want to make again, so figured I'd post here as it might be useful to one of the tt owners: Link
