  1. ...and what is the quality of the petrol in your county ? Try few tanks of 98(or 100) ......and report on forum if there will be any change....
  2. well....it is not "so easy", but it shudn`t be a big problem........just check old posts on the forum, there is a topic about that........(DIY, step by step, with pictures) And YES, U need facia adaptor & wire adaptor.
  3. 1,6 petrol 2002 here... ...........It was never changed in my car(at the moment 65000km)................, according to service plan(schedule), filter must be changed in cars/models with engines CDE... & NDE... every 60 000km or every 72 months. CDE & NDE are codes for diesel engines, code for petrol engines is ZZE.... so, obviously there is no need to change.... ...I think so
  4. I don´t think the LED(or conventional bulbs) are inside. I think there are cold catodes(CCFL)-->some kind of fluorescent lamp(only in LEXUS & Toyota !), usually used in LCD displays. Yeah cold cathodes would work for illuminating the whole panel, but there'd still need to be a point source of light for the dials, and things like the low fuel warning light. Could be EL sheets, or LEDs or whatever. I agree for warning lights(fuel, oil, engine,...), ....but for dials.........are U sure?

  10. I mean "bulbs" (with wires, balast, etc......) ....... If U want "fancy" car/lights, then allmost anything could be OK.....If you want real ( & LEGAL) performance then original parts are the answer.
  11. Just information: Anything above 5000K is not alloved in EU ! & Halogen lamps are not designed for xenon bulbs(glaring ---> opposite drivers !!!!!,....),....... & cheap xenon kits are usually chinese crap(also life time of the bulb is short)....... If U want REAL Xenon lamps, .....the solution is ORIGINAL equipment(bulb&light and not just bulb).

  13. Winter time........M+S compulsory in my country: GY ULTRAGRIP 7 (previous 3 winter seasons GY ULTRAGRIP 6)......very good in snow,... "Summer" Time: original DUNLOP SP SPORT 200E ...good in dry, not so good in wet , now BRIDGESTONE POTENZA RE720 ...excellent in dry&wet :D ... my size is 195/60-15
  14. All 4(LOW & HIGH) front bulbs are H7. My advice: LOW BEAM: OSRAM LIGHT@DAY (longer life) HIGH BEAM: PHILIPS PREMIUM+30%
  15. They could made recall....but the mentioned "problem" is not "life threatening" problem.................so...........there is no need for a recall.... Probably they will fix the problem free of charge ..........of course U need Service book with all "stamps"...
  16. Did you hear manifold vibrations after replacement? no
  17. It's not that bad after all... They contacted me today and said that bore is OK, and the piston rings was like this: first one from the up is OK middle one wasnt that OK and lowest one is totally sinked (pressed) into the piston and it didnt bring the oil down, on its way down. They will replace pistons, rings and piston rods, as well as soome washers (, rubber things between metal parts, I dont speak english that good to translate...). Also, they will replace Air Intake Pipes (Air Intake Bruch?), since it distribute some anoying vibrations around 2k rpm, it's been broken a little somewhere and that plastic cannot be repaired. Tnx for the info G6, but i would never buy second hand engine... again. Vibrations of Intake manifold is also known problem.......they(Toyota service) replaced mine for free.........
