    Try this it worked for my 51,Procedure for your early Avensis model pre - 2003 1. The vehicle should be in the following condition: A. The key is NOT inserted in the ignition. B. The driver's door is open. C. The driver’s door is UNLOCKED. 2. Insert the key into the ignition switch and then pull it out. 3. Press the Master Door Lock Switch (this would be the switch IN the car) 5 times from Lock to Unlock. 4. Close the Driver's door then open it. 5. Repeat step 3. 6. Now select the mode by inserting the key into the ignition switch and turning it to the Run or On position. The programming mod

    Hi could any one tell me the colours of injectors off a 1.6 and a 1.8. I think the 1.6 is blue because this is what is in my carina but others are saying grey. Hope you can elp, pete.

    Does any one know the sequence for a 52 plate tied most and still can,t get to work. tried the 5 on, open door 6 times and sometimes i get the hazards to flash but new key will not program,pete.

    Yes i know this, that is why i took to dealer MrT and he couldn't get to work ? "why" could it be different freq,have keys i believe from mk2 avensis but i have old mk1 52 plate on 433.92, on opening keys one says 296.6 "c" freq any help please.

    Hi are their different frequency key fobs as bought 2 off ebay and neither works at Mr T mine says 433.92 and brought 2 off ebay the last said it was 433.92 but have key and it doesnt says any where on key.just says 736716-a.

    Got dvd out at last said tns300 so is dvd based as i thought so if says checking dvd rom it is dvd not cd

    have got car booked in tomorrow to do this to afraid to do and lose only key on 52 avensis,have seen other posts that say turn key 5 times, open door 6 times. did reprogram a nissan once but took about 5 times and always scared it will lock the only key out about £45 from mr T plus keys from ebay.

    Thanks everyone i thought tns200 was cd based but confused when says dvd rom on screen and in boot,kind regards pete

    The disk is missing from the sat nav and wanted to know if it's a cd or dvd reading forum says cd but screen says checking dvd and the box in boot says dvd all help greatfully recieved. ps. somebody said it was on emule so have started to download but is only cd size. :D

    yes the injectors are annoying aren't they, :D read many forums and changed two of mine 10mins job well sorted :D

    hi i'm just wondering if anybody has changed water pump and how hard it is to get out have seen water pump on ebay for £30 and want to fit my self,seen on other threadsthat it takes about 3 hours,i also agree with wil that there should be a seperate forom for the carina thaks pete.
