    Wheel Squeak

Hi everyone hope someone out there can help with this one. I have a strange squeaking noise coming from offside front wheel that occurs on every revolution , when i apply the brakes tho it goes away and when i lift off it starts again. Taken the wheel off and looked around the disks and pads but cant see anything out of place. You can even hear it when the wheel is off and you turn the hub manually, although it sounds more of a rubbing sound then. Anyone got any ideas. Much appreciated :D

  4. Hi everyone, Hope somebody can help me?! Still having problems with a squeal under the bonnet of my celica 190. First off had my belt and tensioner changed and noise went away that lasted 2,000 miles now its back Took it to the Toyota dealers and now they are telling me the bearings have gone in the alternator! Was thinking of changing the bearings myself but getting hold of the bearings is near on impossible, so have decided to get a second hand alternator. Because im a skin flint I have decided to fit this myself - surely cant be that hard? Does anybody have any tips for changing the alterantor or have tried this before?? Thanks in advance Paul :D
  5. Yeah tried that first off, Ive measured the resistance between the the 12 volt input and the ground point on the amp and its a short circut so the power is going straight to earth, i think a resistor must be blown inside allowing it to pass straight through. Can this be repaired you think? Gona get a new amp anyway. Thanx for the advice :) Paul
  6. Hi there, can anyone help me ive just bought a second hand celica (I Love It) and im having trouble hooking up my Amp and Sub. Just run in all the power leads and Audio leads to the boot and replaced the head unit with a pioneer. Trouble is when i connect the power lead to the Amp the fuse in the power lead blows, ive tryed conecting the lead to the battery first and lead to the Amp first but still blowing. the Amp is already earthed to the chasis and ive connected the remote lead from the head unit. ive got a 30 amp fuse in the power lead and 2 20 amp fuses in the Amp. the Amp is a 800 watt SPL 4200. Thanx Paul.
