  1. Guys, Ive been asked to join a friend on her round the world trip. Ive got the finances sorted (guess i'll have to buy my agusta f4 next year!). Thing is we leave in september, so i need to find somewhere suitable to sell the car. Gutted to see it go, but there's no point leaving it in the garage for a year (losing me money). I dont want to use ebay (as cars tend to go for really low money), and the autotrader want £60 (which is a months worth of hostel accommodation in Cambodia!). Ideally i'd like it to go to someone off the forum so i can keep updated, but if anyone has used/can recommend anywhere then please feel free to let me know or PM me. Regards (oh, and congratulations to anyone who graduated today!!!)

    Oh No!

Woke up this morning, slightly dreading the prospect of taking the car to an MOT centre where they'll come out from half an hour under the bonnet with a "sorry Mr Hough, your car cannot be rescued". (not that theres anything wrong with it, infact, its in great condiction, it was just one of those 'back of the mind' thoughts that dwelled on too much). Considering the cars 14 years old, it passed with not a single recommendation! The MOT guy even said its once of the cleanest and well looked after 14 year old cars he's ever worked on! Result. And to celebrate, im gonna post a few piccies. Dan
  5. JAHill Posted Today, 12:30 PM "Here's hoping that we start colonising new planets soon then!" Problem is that this used to be a typical view adopted by our previous generations - go where we are not welcome, invade, kill their people off, take their land, then go there on holiday 200 years later. I love Oz, the way of life overthere (well, on the east ocast where i was) was perfect. Its how living SHOULD be and i can totally sympathise with how frustraited the aussies must be. Its just a shame that a few extremist bellends ruin the name of an otherwise very peaceful faith of people.
  6. Mug Pink or Brown (ice cream colour you rude bunch...)
  7. If its a Rev5, then why has it got Rev1/2 rears? And which cars for sale? Red or black (not that i have space for another, well, in my real life garage i dont!)
  8. A standard supra would be doing well to beat a 12.34 1/4 time. Doubt that he "wasn't trying", more of a case of "simply couldn't compete".

How many TOC'ers does it take to change a lightbulb? 1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been changed 14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently 7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs 1 to move it to the Lighting section 2 to argue then move it to the Electricals section 7 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs 5 to flame the spell checkers 3 to correct spelling/grammar flames 6 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb" ... another 6 to condemn those 6 as stupid 2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp" 15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that "light bulb" is perfectly correct 19 to post that this forum is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a lightbulb forum 11 to defend the posting to this forum saying that we all use light bulbs and therefore the posts are relevant to this forum 36 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for this technique and what brands are faulty 7 to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs 4 to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected URL's 3 to post about links they found from the URL's that are relevant to this group which makes light bulbs relevant to this group 13 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all headers and signatures, and add "Me too" 5 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy 4 to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?" 13 to say "do a search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs" 1 to hijack the thread and ask how to change the horn 1 forum lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again. And a Mod to close it down when it all goes a bit tricky made me giggle (So i thought id share!)
