  1. Since the aygo haynes manual is a little shy of info & there is still a demand for this, here is the definitive list; Here's how to reset the MMT brain AYGO MMT RESET.pdf Layout of the parts AYGO MMT PART LAYOUT.pdf System diagram AYGO MMT GEARBOX.pdf Construction & operation AYGO MMT OPS.pdf Function of main components AYGO MMT PART FUNCTION.pdf How the MMT ecu makes decisions (including diagnostic trouble codes DTC ) AYGO MMT SYS OPS.pdf
  2. Here's the maintenance intervals http://techdoc.toyota-europe.com/Maintenan.../aygo/Final.pdf Here's the service data sheets. Thanks to a kindly fellow at Toyota for the info. You know who you are :) Naturally, if you don't know what your doing don't risk your safety. If you do, it's your own fault
  3. you're welcome (very late response, I know)

    Piston-Slap

It's more likely to be valve clearances that need checking. Piston slap doesn't often vanish when warm. By the way, the cylinders cannot be re-bored

    Tow Bar

Only thing you can buy for it is a bicycle rack type faux tow bar. Hard to find & overpriced
  8. Hi, Toyota only published the weights (65kg) & the bore & stroke, not the overall engine dims. The height is the likely problem, but you can probably work around it if it's angle in the sub frame. I suggest contacting the seller & asking them to measure it up for you. Also, good luck with the electrics. Sure you don't want to use an old skool carb engine instead? I suggest hunting down a good turbo kei car engine & going from there. All the best
  9. Hi, Attached is for your info & also on the below link http://www23.zippyshare.com/v/32159052/file.html AYGO MODEL CODE.pdf
  10. Righto, not too impressed with toyota hoarding information that will help non-toyota dealerships fix your car. Since there's quite a few Aygos out there out of warranty & haynes manuals are hardly profitable to produce any more, please see attached. Free download. no sign up. no catches. I suggest this is a pinned topic please for the benefit of the owners. 1KR-FE ECU.pdf2WZ-TV ECU.pdf If the attachments don't work, or you want to view them without loggin in, use these links; Petrol version (1KR-FE engine) http://www64.zippyshare.com/v/9739569/file.html Diesel version (2WZ-TV engine) http://www5.zippyshare.com/v/8509841/file.html Ask no questions & I'll tell no lies ;) If you found this helpful, let us know :)
  11. I'll try & find another... no luck with the pics, but this link to the part numbers still works http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/q_E_2006_TOYOTA_AYGO_KGB10.html Don't forget, the pat number is also often printed on the part you're replacing
  12. HI!

could you maybe send me the manual for the Aygo?

    my email is tobiaswebber@hotmail.com

  13. Have a look at this link http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=61232166 It's at the front, below & to the right of the turbo (if you don't know what a turbo looks like please just take it to a garage) It's the same engine as the 1.4 HDI peugeot 206 & the 1.4 tdci ford fiesta. The 1.6 HDI is also very similar. You should be able to find haynes manuals for these older cars. However, if you need to ask where the oil filter is....maybe you should look over the shoulder of a mechanic for this service. All the best
  14. I can help you out. My diesel Aygo had an injector leaking fuel at nearly 45,000 miles and 1 week before the warranty ran out. I decided to take out the extended 2yr warranty. Since then, I'm on 60,000 and an injector seal failed, which was fixed under warranty. If you're out of warranty I strongly recommend you take your car to a peugeot or citroen (PSA) garage to get it fixed. The engine is a 1.4hdi and is used in many peugeot & citroen models. You'll get a cheaper quote to fix it. £1,300 is ridiculous Diesel version was £1000 more when new and a careful petrol owner could get mpg close to a careless diesel driver. They are also in the same tax band, so the diesel didn't sell well. Best mpg I've ever got from the diesel is a tiny bit over 90mpg, but it was boring doing it.
  15. Just an update, the Intellitester does work on my Aygo. I made the mistake of thinking the glow plugs were supposed to be triggered by air inlet temperature. Instead the glow plugs are triggered by the coolant temperature
