Need to get a towbar for my chr. it’s only for a trailer to put some camping stuff in so nowhere near the 700kg max towing weight. anyhow if I don’t get it done by Toyota, are there any drawbacks as in warranty etc. what cost would you expect to pay fitted? toyota want nearly £800

Hi if I were to tow a really small trailer, is there a tow ball or bar or whatever that’s ply screws in without a great deal of cost? it wouldn’t block out lights and number plate could be attached on the trailer if blocked. would only use in the day very rarely thanks

e Hello Nick Thank you for your email regarding your Toyota C-HR Hybrid. Your vehicle will still need to be serviced 1 year of every 10,000 miles - whichever occurs first. Not servicing your C-HR could cause mechanical breakdown and if servicing is not completed correctly it would not be covered under warranty if the issue is caused by non-servicing. Components in your vehicle such as oil within your car degrade just as fast when they are not in use and will still need to be changed at suggested intervals. CHR Hybrid After them replacing the battery that starts the car for free - long story - I wondered if the warranty has been changed regards servicing as I haven't used the car other than to take it out twice a week for a drive up and down the motorway for the batteries sake. Now my new boiler manufacturer has said that they will extend warranties to get the servicing done due to cover for 6 months. I wondered if something like this was taking place with Toyotas as I imagine lots of people aren't doing more than a thousand miles or two. Anyone heard anything? Thanks

Thanks all pressed the start button and plugged it in. afterwads the car beeped and wouldn’t lock/ mirrors go in etc. looked in car to see I hadn’t pressed the start button again to cancel. Took it for a drive and starter no problem. thanks all

Won’t my tyres be huge by then? 🤪 should I have the car started or just in radio mode - single press - to get the output from the socket. thanks

Hi same here. Bought a battery starter. In for service, told I needed a new battery as not done enough miles. complained to Toyota hq. Sent a man without a battery several times, even though I said what’s the point. Fitted new battery for free. Said something like furring up. Not being used was probably on dealers forecourt. no problems since

My partners son has the car at present but the reversing sensors have packed in. I understand that these were not an option when the car was new. Where should I look when I get access to the car. looking to fit a new kit, but the existing keeps beeping in reverse so need to disable / remove it thanks
