  1. A very old thread to dig up but if anyone is still looking for a GT-Four tow bar I've just put a complete and genuine Toyota one in the for sale section.
  2. I have in my garage a genuine and very rare ST 205 GT-Four Tow Bar complete with plug in electrics kit, tow ball and bolts and fitting instructions. It is made up of Toyota parts; 00062-20030 The tow bar. 52171-20160 The strengthening body panel that fits behind the rear bumper. GBNGA-TR033 The plug in electrics kit. As I understand it Toyota only made a small initial batch of these and due to lack of demand never put them into main stream production hence there are very few out there. I got this one from a guy who used to tow his formula Ford race car and trailer with it. It took me several years to track one down and purchase it but then plans changed and I never got around to fitting it! I no longer have the car so have no need of the Tow Bar. Offers invited. Contact Steve on 07870 560923 pics; (Ignore the writing and prices on the fitting instructions, that was my local Toyota dealer pricing them up 8 years ago and telling me the tow bar was no longer available)
  3. Open to offers, ring up and haggle, I could use the garage space.
  4. Re listed and price reduced again! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/160666534726?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649#ht_1048wt_940

  6. Price reduced as I need the storage space, all offers considered.
  7. SOLD. Gen 6, UK Toyota Celica ST205 GT-Four, 1994 / L, Storm Blue, 79k, Former Toyota Press Fleet vehicle featured in magazines and on Top Gear. Rare UK Homologation (WRC) model. Low Miles 79k Standard / Un-modified. Air con. ABS. Factory fitted electric tilt / slide sun roof. High rear wing. Comprehensive and documented Service History, original owners hand book and folder full of receipts, old MOTs, Tax discs etc. MOT to 28/06/12 Tax exp 03/12 New Exide Premium, maintenance free battery just fitted. 4 New Tyres (less than 200 miles). Fig 8's, rear brake discs, pads, hand brake shoes and rear wheel bearings all replaced within last 3.5k. Owners: 1st Reg May 94 Toyota (Press Fleet). 2nd Owner Feb 95 at 13k. 3rd Owner (Me) Oct 03 at 52k. I have owned this car for nearly 8 years, it runs and drives perfectly with a clean exhaust and everything works. It has been a second / third car during that time and has averaged less than 3.5k miles a year. It has been very well looked after, garaged, and main services done by Toyota main dealers, all the receipts for this and other work are documented in the history folder. I even have a record of every fuel fill with mileage over last 8 years! The standard factory wheels fitted have been powder coated in a darker colour (Toyota graphite grey). I also have a spare set of standard wheels in the original colour available if required, but they do need a refurb. Toyota tailored over mats plus rubber over mats used since purchase so carpets are very clean as are the seats and interior in general. Not smoked in. Original jack, tool kit and unused space saver spare present. It even has the original Toyota supplied water bag and piping for the Homologation water spray bar! This actual car featured on Top Gear in 1994, when it was driven by Clarkson in a comparison test with the Escort Cosworth. Clip viewable on You Tube; Celica GT-Four ST205 vs Escort Cosworth, Clarkson old Top Gear Toyota included b&w photographs of it in their 34 page press pack released at the time. Car magazine ran a picture of it in July 1994 when they ran a comparison between the Cossie, Integrale and Impreza. They excluded the GT-Four from the test as it was too expensive compared to the others! Performance Car ran a 4 page feature on it in the August 1994 edition under Homologation Specials called ''Last of the breed'' Motor Sport magazine ran a 5 page feature on it in October 1994 called ''A splash of brute!' I've got copies of all these magazines and the press pack and they are included in the sale. It will be due a A / 9k service in 1000 miles, The recent MOT test gave 2 advisories, FNS shock light oil mist (very, very minor) and structure slight corrosion, there are a couple of small blisters on the bottom of the ROS wheel arch and the underside has a little surface rust in places but I consider it very clean and sound for it's age. There are also a few very minor stone chips, very slight wear to drivers seat squab and 4 screw holes in plastic centre console where a phone holder was fitted by the previous keeper. Photos of any of these can be supplied on request before you travel to view. To summarise this is a car in remarkably good, original, well maintained, low mileage condition for its age, with a very interesting and well documented history. I've included details of MOT advisories and obvious wear and tear as I have no intention of making the car out to be perfect or something it is not. I have resisted the temptation to douche the underside in waxoil or spray the engine with WD40, it really is as clean as it looks in the photo. I am simply seeking an open honest, hassle free sale for the best possible price and it is you the buyer that will ultimately decide what that is is. Please give me a ring to discuss any questions you have or arrange a viewing, evenings 6pm to 9pm are best or anytime over the weekends. Best offer gets the car as it's just not getting used and I could do with the garage space. I will give a demo drive in the car if an agreed sale / price is reached. Test drives will only be allowed on proof of insurance and a deposit. Test pilots will not be entertained! Thanks for looking. Steve 07870 560923
  8. This is the tow bar Toyota designed for the ST205 GT Four. I understand they only ever made an initial batch but as they didn't get much demand for them they never made any more. I had a friendly man at Toyota searching parts stores all round the world trying to find one for me without luck. It took me nearly 5 years but I eventually found a second hand one, here it is ready for a clean up and fitting. When I eventually get it bolted on I'll post some more pictures.
