  5. Dont ring them yet, maybe someone in your family ordered it... Check with your bank first and ask for a statement of all the latest credit card transactions. If you cant find the transaction, keep the shower!

  7. Sorry, about your accident, just wanted to add that I had a similar situation last night, was on the country roads at 11pm, raining as well, tight bend came up, with no warning signs to slow down, I did anyway and slowed down to 40, then immediately came up to a T junction. Brakes locked, then I started pumping the brakes, every time I pumped them the brakes locked repeatedly. Luckily I managed to slow down to about 25 mph and made a sharp right turn. Luckily there wasnt any other cars on the road, so nothing happened, but I did have a car full of passengers.
  8. yea, thats true. Plus it didnt look like the driver of the aston was really pushing it....
  9. Well if you claim you have searched the archives, then you would have found your answer. I know for a fact that this has been discussed numerous times before.

  11. I actually had a look at that site before posting here, cant believe i missed them! But how would I connect these type of fuses? http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_in...roducts_id=3247 Do I need a fuse holder for them? thanks!
  12. You sure about that formula? Because the biggest fuses I can find for the power cable are 80 amps.
  13. is the vid available anywhere online? I dont see any point wasting my money on max power
  14. Well, your audio cables seem to be shielded from external interference (e.g. power cable) quite well. But some cheap audio cables may not be shielded well, in such a case its better to wire the audio cables on the other side of the car. Better to be safe than sorry!
  15. theres prob a 2p resistor in that fancy black box
  16. Hi, I found this: http://www.incarexpress.co.uk/view_product.php?partno=PX043 would that work?
  17. Hi, I have a headunit which has 1x pre out. (one red and one white rca connectors). This is currently connected to an amp which is powering a sub. I want to get a 4 channel amp to power 4 speakers. For this I require 2x pre outs, which my head unit does not have. Is it possible to get some sort of connector which converts the ISO connection at the back of the headunit to rca connectors? thanks!
  18. I am thinking of getting a 1300w amp, and was wondering what gauge of power cable I should get, and what fuse I should put in the power cable? thanks!
  19. Go to my website and read the guide on how to remove the front door panels, then take a 4.5mm drill bit, and drill into the 3 pop rivets to take them out. then go to B&Q and get some thin mdf, and cut out the same triangular shape as the stock one in the car. make a suitable size hole in your new mdf speaker holder for the size of speakers you are goin to install (dont screw the speaker on the mdf cut out just yet) get 3 nuts and screws, and attach the mdf cut out to the door. NOw screw your new speakers onto the mdf cut out. Finito!
  20. Hi, I have been looking at a few 4 channel amps to power all the 4 speakers in my car. The speakers are rated at 4 ohms, but the amps I have looked at are rated at 2 ohms. Will I be able to run the speakers off the amps without them blowing up? lol
