  1. the people i feel sorry for are the poor buggers (and i'm one of them) that have to put it right afterwards. i'd like a quid for every time i've heard it was only a little puddle and i was going very slow
  2. i don't believe this i did my apprenticeship there about 20 years ago. I was in the truck shop what did he do there? I think he was a sales man? (I should know shouldn't I?!) his name's Ryan, would've been around the early 90s. oh right after my time i left in the mid eighties the picture in my profile is like i said me and my boy but the railways at pulborough next time your down you'll have to come and look

  10. another lefty here now this knife and fork thing I think us lefties do it right. you think about it if we use a fork or a spoon we use our left hand to put the food into our mouth. now a right handed person with a fork use their left hand to put food into their mouth then give them a spoon they start using the other hand whats that all about?
  11. how does the hand brake work on your car? is it using the same pads as the foot brake or is it seperate? I have had a problem like this and swaping the rear wheels sorted it but I'm not sure it'll help you as you say when it's jacked up you can still turn the wheel was the caliper new or recon?
  12. so this one took 20 mins to do which is loads loads better my reckoning then is the other one took 5 mins and at 400,000 pounds now thats some pay packet!
  13. yep the same as that my gosh where has the time gone? i'm a mechanic by trade and it makes me think of the things we used to get upto in the workshop we'd never get away with it now the apprentices would have us in court quicker than that. You mean like getting winched up to the rafters after having your nether regions smeared with grease you're right they would take you to court and sue you today then have to go for counseling the first garage i worked at they had an Irritating know it all apprentice in the body shop so they sprayed his balls with under seal and gave him a tin of nitromors to get it off

  17. What I don't understand about it is why do they have to have bits sticking out so far like the bits on the roof and the bit sticking right out the front of the blue van?
