  1. Sweeeeeeeet!!!! I wanna live in OZ............. Lee
  2. Aye, same problem here..........
  3. With Shell Optimax, you should notice a slight increase in throttle response. Mind you, it would normally take at least 3 or 4 tank fulls to notice any difference ........ Ive been using it for about 2 years and in all honesty..... I wouldnt use anything else now!! As for resetting the ECU.... I didnt bother, as ive heard it should automatically adapt!! Lee
  4. Bombay Badboy for me aswell........... AARRGGH!!!
  5. Yep, this time of year annoys me. No sooner do you clean it and its dirty again......... The worst bit is the salt off the gritting trucks......... ARRRRGH!!!!! Always best to get the salt of ASAP, cos it dont take long to eat at the paintwork. I always blast the underside of the car with the hose aswell......... Happy cleaning! Lee
  6. Yeah, ive also noticed that theres very litte brake dust from the standard pads........ (T Sport). Me brother has a Lupo GTI and he is forever cleaning the brake dust from the rims.......
  7. If it doesnt rattlle...... Its not a Yaris!!!!

    Stuck Brakes?

Yeah, as previous post. Nothing to worry about....... If youve been driving about in the rain and park up for the nite, this is when a thin layer of rust forms......... After a few 'yards' of driving it will clear itself!! Lee

    New Yaris T-sport

Welcome! To see if the power steering is working..... sit in the car with the engine running and start turning the steering wheel..... you should hear the engine revs drop a little when the servo mechanism is moving..... You may also hear the servo itself moving........ Mine also has the protective film over the rear arches..... Lee
  10. Yeah, i would have said between £6000-7000...... Think you would better off selling it privately though........ Lee

    Air Fliter

    Apexi all the way.................
  12. Nice one!!! The best place (actually only place) to put a cold air-feed is from the opposite side of the grill to where the filter is. There is a slight gap to the right hand side of the radiator which you can fit one end of the cold air-feed to, then you need to take the other end across the where the radiator cap is and up underneath the filter. This seemed to be the only place i could find anyway......... Hope this helps. Im sorry if the description wasnt up to scratch, but i didnt know how else to explain it....... Abit too dark outside to take any pics........ :( I think i used i a 3" air-feed on mine Lee

    Alloy Wheels

Yep, get it back to Toyota. They will be covered under warranty........ As it happens, mine is going in on Tuesday to have the alloys replaced due to corrosion....... Lee

    Tyres

These are the ones i got for the standard rims and they dont look too bad with the 195/50's: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...ADME:B:EOT:UK:3 I have to say, they are quality set of tyres in wet and dry....... Lee
  15. Quitter!! Fair enough the heat may have got to her, but wasnt she supposed to have trained for this..........?? Just what was said in the previous post - the rest of the GB team have managed to get through it......
